I enjoyed my stay at Casa Saraina. It was private, peaceful, and just the right amount of rustic. If you enjoy the camping experience and want to be surrounded by nature, this is definitely the perfect place to stay - there are tons of butterflies, cool exotic insects, pizotes and bats around. One of the best parts was Rafa, the grounds keeper. He was always super helpful with anything I needed and I was so glad to have his help - especially with learning Spanish!
Across the street is a horse ranch and it is about a 15 minute walk to the beach (5 minutes on a bike). Also close by is a fruit stand run by Claudio and the grocery store is not far either - (10 minute walk/5 minutes by bike).
I suggest this bungalow to someone who loves nature, is not afraid of the dark/nature, and enjoys peace and quiet. If you want more of a modern accommodation, there is also a lovely studio on the premises that is available to rent.
