The space

One room with private bathroom. Very rustic. Fan. Matrimonial bed. Equipped kitchenette (fridge, sink, gas stove, cooking ustensiles) on the covered terrasse. Covered porch for hammock hanging. Access to shared garden and pool. Lush environment.

Guest access

Car/moto/bike or bus to the gas station and walk 350meters to the property.
3min drive/7min bike to Playa Pelada

The neighborhood

Lush environment. Close to horse rentals (50m away) and Nosara River (3-4min walk). No bars/disco around. Sparsed habitat.

We are in R section, Nosara Springs. On the map (in the photos section), my property is located exactly where Nosara Springs is written.

We are about 20 (25 with a stroller) minutes walk to "el Golfo" (North Pelada beach) and Playa Pelada main entrance, add 10-15min to Playa Guiones North via the beach/jungle trail. By bike: 7min to Playa Pelada, and add 5-10 to North Guiones.

In Playa Pelada there are 5 nice restaurants (local food, Texmex, pizzeria, mixed cuisine). There is a veggies/fruit shop in Playa Pelada and a minimarket (grocery store).

We are 5min walk to the gas station where you find a nice restaurant La Malanoche, a liquor store (that also sells basic dry food), fruit stalls and a coffee shop.

The way to the beach by the back road is very quiet and there are not many cars (the main road can be busy during the high season).

The Super La Paloma grocery store is 5min away by tuktuk (local taxi that goes anywhere for 3000colones/way so about 6$) or 10min by bike. The Super Nosara is about 10min away by tuktuk. If you have a good list of shopping goods, you can even call these 2 grocery stores (probably only in Spanish though) and they will shop for you and bring it to my home (you need to pay them cash when they arrive), as soon as their car is free (so rather go than call if it is urgent or you are not going to be there when they deliver!).

Right next to us (1min walk away) there are horse rentals and stalls. We are located in a very quiet area of the beaches of Nosara and if you stay at my place you are pretty sure you will see hawler monkeys almost daily around the house, as well as often raccoons, coatis, tattoos, and all types of birds.

Getting around

Bus to gas station and walk 350mts.
By car/moto/bike: take the road on the left in front of the telecom tower/ASADA (about 50mts prior to the gas station when you drive into the direction of Nosara village), pass Nomad, next built property with big wooden gate and green house.

Other things to note

Unfortunately during the windy season the kitchenette can be dusty.
