Interaction with Guests
We are quite busy and are both pursuing graduate degrees and working.
If we are hanging out in the living room, we love to chat with our guests and get to know them better. We are also happy to provide any recommendations for dining or assist guests with getting around Boston!
We live in the heart of Harvard Square in Cambridge. Harvard Square is a historic district surrounded by Harvard College with brick sidewalks, historic architecture and dozens of great bars, restaurants, bookstores, clothing stores, and other landmarks and shops. With tons of cafes and easy access to the Charles River, Harvard Square has lots to offer visitors and has great transit options for exploring the rest of Cambridge and Boston!
Public Transit: Our apartment is just a few blocks from the Harvard T stop on the Red Line of the subway. There are also several bus routes that meet at Harvard Station.
Bicycle: As avid bicyclists, my wife and I are happy to provide directions for some great explorations along the Charles River Trail, the Minuteman Trail, and safest routes by bike to other area attractions.
Mi experiencia en casa de Tom y Amy fue muy buena. El departamento, las instalaciones, el barrio, asi como la cordialidad fueron excelentes. Definitivamente, los recomiendo como anfitriones.
The apartment is perfectly located - literally a few minutes walk from Harvard Square. It's a brilliant base to explore Boston and a tranquil place to chill after a hard days sightseeing.
The room is a good size, the bed v comfy and and all clean and tidy - I felt very at home.
Tom and Amy's cats Lucy and Bella were so cute. Lucy and I struck up a bit of a friendship and I was tempted to take her home with me.
Tom and Amy were super accommodating going out of their way to check me in and allowing a late check out in my last day.
Thanks for having me.
I enjoyed my stay at Tom and Amy's place near Harvard! They are a very friendly couple and have a very lovely apartment, clean and quiet, and the Red Line is just a few minutes walk away. Their cats are very friendly too! This is the one you should consider if you are trying to find a nice place to stay in Cambridge/Harvard area!

This was my first Airbnb reservation alone, and it worked out great. Tom and Amy were always friendly and helpful with any questions I had about the Greater Boston area, and their cats were absolutely adorable.
The location was close to Harvard Station as advertised, so getting around and exploring the city was super convenient. They also did a great job of keeping the place clean and tidy - I'd definitely go back for my next trip!
Tom & Amy's cool apartment was the perfect spot for our three night stay in Boston. They were so helpful & hospitable and our room was exactly as described. Overall an awesome experience, highly recommended!
My first air bnb Reservation. I'll keep this short. Its a very affordable place to stay around harvard sq, literally minutes from the sq (so the food, bars, and coffee shops & libraries if you're in for downright studying). Safe area, very nice people, clean room, nothing was a hassle. FYI - room is small but shouldn't matter. I was here for a short course to study so I didn't care.
My name is Tom Klein and I am a bicyclist, locavore, and sustainability champion currently residing in Cambridge, MA's Harvard Square. I am a Master of Landscape Architecture student at Boston Architectural College and am interested in urban planning, policy, and urban ecology.
My wife Amy and I share our apartment with a very independent cat named Lucy. We enjoy cooking utilizing seasonal and local ingredients, and exploring the city.
