Apartment in the heart of Rome, located on a quiet street.
Just a few steps from the Vatican city and Roman nightlife!
Perfect place to "LA BELLA VITA"(THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE)
But also for relax because the room is very quite!

The Space

From Piazza campo de' Fiori, taking a little street behind the stalls of flowers, we arrive at my building in Via dei Cappellari where climbing a flight of stairs you enter a haven of tranquility.

This is where I offer a double room with ensuite in a lovely apartment just steps from Campo dei Fiori, very quiet and peaceful, but just down the stairs and you're in the Roman nightlife.

The room is part of an apartment where there is also a lovely terrace, very often if I'm not too busy I like to chat with visitors and exchange opinions and drink a glass of good wine on the terrace or in winter in front of the chimney.

All the apartment is furnished in a very particular way, with objects of life, of old travels, or old memories. For the most demanding guests I can arrange guided tours, rent seegway and a request can be made laundry service at the price of 10€, we can arrange dinners with local produce, you can rent bikes at the price of 10 € per day, ask for a private massage, cut your hair, photo shooting and more e more...;-)

  • Great place to stay, very central. You're able to walk to Rome's most significant highlights, no need make use of public transportation. As for the room: not that big but in a perfect condition, bed is cozy and everything is clean. Only downside is that you won't have a view as the window faces the inside of the palazzio; the upside is that the room is very quiet.

The wine we got from Marco was great as well and he is a great host that will make sure that you have a pleasant stay.

  • We had a great 6 days vacation staying in Marco's apartment. The room is small but quite, confortable and clean, the location is perfect for any tourists who want to be in the pure historical center of Rome...and Marco is a great host. Raccomandatissimo!

  • It's a great room in a stunning flat, literally 3 minutes from Campo de Fiori. Marco is a great host, he replied swiftly to all my messages. I highly recommend this room.

  • Fantastic host, apartment and location. I highly recommend it. Marco is incredibly helpful and his apartment is truly in the most incredible location-- for hanging out and for sightseeing. Great value as well. I'd stay there again.

  • I had a wonderful stay with Marco at Sleep in Campo de Fiori! The communication with Marco was excellent door to door, and I was very impressed with many of his thoughtful detail including a mini-fridge and bed-side chocolate. Marco had a lot of great information prepared for his guests, which made my stay in Rome very easy.

In addition to my accommodation, it was wonderful to get to know Marco over some delicious meals!

Do not miss out on visiting Marco at his family's market near the Pantheon! I did all of my souvenir shopping there.

  • Marco is a friendly and attentive host; from booking, and at arrival, during and at the end of our stay.

The room was nicely furnished and very clean. The wine (home made by a relative) and fruit on arrival were very welcome.

The location is fabulous - easy to walk to all of the sites, and the Campo di Fiori is lively enough to stay in if you don't want to walk far. Great selection of places to eat and drink around.

For those not used to staying in old Roman buildings, the lack of natural daylight should be pointed out. The window opens onto a narrow void and sky is only to be seen many stories above if you lean out! Still, we didn't stay in the room during the day, so lack of view wasn't a real issue.

The other point that I would mention is the presence of a cat. I love cats, and cats love me, but I'm allergic to them and the description of the room didn't mention it - I wouldn't have stayed if I had known there was a cat in the house. Luckily, I wasn't badly affected on this occasion.

    Response from Marco:

I'm sorry, only now know of your allergy!
if you told me, I would have put the cat outside on the terrace!
however, the presence of the cat in the ad is well written and there is even a picture.
test, revise well my ad, you will find it also written in the reviews of other guests

  • This is the second time that I have stayed in Marcos place. It is, in my opinion on the best, most picturesque street in Rome. It is close enough to everything, but not really touristy at all. This time, I got a sim card with a couple gigabytes of data and was able to use maps, gps, yelp restaurants, and call marco if necessary.

  • Marco was an excellent host! He managed my miscommunication with the transfer that I missed with grace...and upon my arrival, offered a care package that satisfied all of my needs during my trip as well as a sharing of his family wine. The location is more than ideal near Rome's city center and directly off a popular open air market filled with ideal restaurants, shopping, stores, and on some days, an open market. He also made my return a lasting memory by providing discounted prices for some coveted cheese and grocery options. Rome is an amazing city; and there is no question where I will be staying during my next visit. Cheers to a great traveling experience!!!

  • Marco (and his cat) were amazing! He arranged a ride for me from the airport and made a wonderful dinner my first night. I really enjoyed our conversation and he have great advice and suggestions. As I was traveling by myself he made it a great stay! It is a perfect location to sight see everything. 100% recommend. Would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Marco!
