About this listing
The apartment is located within three minutes walking distance to the main station and very close to the city center, the old town, the harbour and river Rhine side. The surrounding is as all station areas over the world, multi cultural and active. Excellent connections by public transport to all Düsseldorf locations and all over Germany.
The apartment (51 square meteres), has a sleeping room with a queen sized bed of 1,60m and a living room with a flexible couch suitable for two persons. The kitchen with balcony is equipped with micro wave oven, dishwasher, washing machine and all kitchen ware for the daily life. In the white tiled tub you will find towels and a hair dryer for every day (website hidden) and WiFi are available as well
We've only stayed one night but this was a pleasant experience.
Jutta was very flexible as to what time we would like to check-in and everything was in order when we arrived.
The place is clean, spacious and exactly like on the pictures.
She mentioned that her neighbours were a bit noisy (which happened to be true in the morning) but there hasn't been any problem during the night. And after all, we were gone during the day so we cannot say it has been a problem for us.
We would certainly recommend it.
I could recommend this apartment highly. It is spacious, have all the amenities that one needs and the biggest advantage is its central location. (It takes less than 5 minutes by foot to get to the main train station and even less if you take the tram to the Altstadt. There are also a couple of good restaurants within close walking distance)
As is the case all over the world, the area around the station attracts unique people. It is no different in the case of Dusseldorf, but the area is clean and we felt safe even after dark.
Jutta received us and spent a lot of time to make us feel welcome. The bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable, but I suggest you bring your own pillow if you are not used to continental ones (I have never figured out how to sleep on them). If you are not used to living in an apartment and a light sleeper, you may be aware of the movement of other people late at night or early in the morning and it is therefore advisable to bring some earplugs.
I will stay here once more if I ever need to be back in Dusseldorf and travel around in the immediate surroundings.
The apartment was very nice and conveniently located. Jutta mentioned that the neighbors were loud by conflating their loudness with their ethnicity, which made me really uncomfortable, but other than that she was a responsive and flexible host.
Hurts, replied very fast to emails and was very helpful. The apartment was clean, roomy en very conveniently located in Düsseldorf centre. I would recommend this accomodation!
Jutta was very punctual to meet us, her place was really clean and exactly like in the description. Walking distance to the old city. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay at her place.
