The house is in a quiet neighborhood on a tree-lined street, just one block from historic Corbin Park in Central Spokane. The house in within walking distance to the Garland neighborhood district where you will find restaurants, coffee shops, thrift stores, and a discount movie theater. We're also close to downtown, the freeway/I-90, Gonzaga, and Riverpoint campuses, but also the north side of town and Hwy 2.
Off-street parking is available. Those of you coming without transportation will find it easy to get around Spokane without a vehicle. There are two bus routes within 5 blocks of the house. Most things are within an easy 2 mile radius of the house so walking and riding a bike works good too. If you're interested we have a bicycle and helmet for rent (an older woman's Specialized Rock Hopper--perfect for riding Spokane roads!).
The room, queen bed, and bath is typically only available to 2 guests max. However, we are open to varying circumstances and have a single floor mattress for a 3rd person willing to sleep on the floor.

I loved my stay with Myah! She was so flexible with my late arrival time and helped me feel right at home when I arrived. The claw foot tub and foam mattress were a little slice of heaven for a weary traveler! In the morning I enjoyed coffee, toast and warm, thoughtful conversation. I'm so glad I had the chance to meet and spend time with a truly wonderful individual. Thanks Myah for welcoming me into your home!
Myah's place was a oasis at the end of a long road trip. The suite is comfortable and cozy and a delight to spend time in. The bed is remarkable - comfortable AND supportive - relief for an aching back! Myah is a gracious host and made us feel very welcome. I look forward to staying here on future visits to Spokane.
Staying with Myah was absolutely fantastic! She is incredibly friendly and such a wonderful host. I instantly felt at home. The room where we stayed was cozy and the bed is SOOO comfortable. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
I love older homes! Myah has done a nice job with preserving its charm. Very comfy bed! Slept well and appreciated myah 's kind hospitality. Will certainly keep this on my travel list.
What a wonderful place. Larger then the photos appeared, close to downtown, yet totally secluded and quiet. Myah was a wonderful host and amazing human being.
Our stay with Myah was wonderful. We loved the house and neighborhood which was very quiet for sleeping. Lovely room. Good conversations with Myah who also was able to accommodate our light cooking. Would definitely stay here again when in Spokane.
We booked with Myah day-of when we hit bad weather on a cross-country road trip. My boyfriend and I had been hoping to continue camping through the states, which we completely forgot about amidst the comforts and friendliness inherent in sharing Myah's home. Loved her decorating, her conversation, and the hot coffee she made for our thermos on our way out the next rainy morning.
Myah was a very welcoming and gracious host. We were only at her residence for a short while during our one night stay in Spokane, but had a good time. In the morning, Myah was already up and had some coffee ready for us in the morning even though we had to leave by 7:30. We would gladly stay with her on our next trip through Eastern Washington.
Staying at Myah's home was perfect for me. The house was on a very quiet, peaceful street, but centrally located, making much of Spokane walkable. Myah was available for advising me about walks, restaurants, cultural aspects of the area, and gave me directions to a different lake to swim in every day!
My room and bath were very clean and comfortable, and it was easy to come and go without feeling that I was causing any disturbance.
Myah was warm and accessible, and a very gracious host
This was a perfect spot for me. Myah's place is close enough to the airport and to downtown. The sheets were nice and the bed was VERY comfy. I really enjoyed the claw foot tub. Myah is really friendly and easy to communicate with, but not intrusive at all. I will definitely stay with her again if I need a place in Spokane. Thanks!
