Everything was amazing about Aline and her apartment. She welcomed us like we were family. The apartment is in great shape and excellent location. We couldn't have asked for more. Despite how expensive the bay are is, this is a jewel that is affordable and enjoyable.
Aline was a warm, friendly host who was very accommodating. She even provided a new Aerobed for my cousin who stayed with me for a few nights, as well as a new coffee maker. There was a bowl of fruit, cookies and a bottle of wine to greet me when I arrived. Aline was respectful of my privacy and texted me the one time she needed to come over. The condo was spacious, quiet and very clean.
Aline proved to be a great host, doing her best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The condo is in a nice, quiet location. If you are in for business you should consider renting a car however the transit is just across the road with relatively short rides to Menlo Park (10 min) or CalTrain. The condo has 1BR with one queen size bed and a sofa (too small for an adult but ok for a kid to sleep in). Internet is good enough for Skype calls but barely. All in all highly recommended!
Aline graciously greeted me and gave me a great tour of the condo. The condo was very comfortable and conveniently located. My stay was for nine days and Aline checked in via text a couple of times to make sure I had everything I needed.
The address shown on the map is El Camino Real, but the apartment is in a secluded complex with an entrance on a side street. The pictures is accurate and the apartment spacious. Aline was very helpful and accommodating, and I would have stayed longer had the apartment not been already booked by another guest.
Guests will want a car, as the neighborhood is not very walkable. But this is clear up-front from looking at the map. In any case, this apartment is clearly superior to a hotel on the same street.
Our family stayed in Aline's and Jack's apartment for one month and we had a wonderful time. Right away we felt at home because of Aline's and Jack's hospitality. The apartment was clean and spacey, comfortable and very well equipped (blankets, bed linens, towels, kitchenware etc - everything was available). It has everything one might ever need to have a comfortable living. The apartment is located in a very nice community very close to Menlo Park, Redwood City, Stanford, Palo Alto and other locations of Silicon Valley.
Aline and Jack are wonderful hosts and very kind and warm-hearted people. We will definitely stay in contact. We can highly recommend staying in their apartment!
The apartment was immaculately clean and the bed very comfortable. Aline welcomed us personally, greeting us with fresh bread, biscuits, fruit and a bottle of wine. She was charming and provided interesting information about our visit to San Francisco as well as providing details about the amenities in the apartment. The neighbourhood is very pleasant but a car is essential for transport.
About the Host, Aline
About my family and myself
We are the tight knit family of three.
We passed a long way until settled in this nice area. We use to value
hard work, honesty and integrity and it is the way we treat our guests.
One of us works for Stanford University as a Research Engineer and
another family member occupation is in Health Care field.
The third of us works as a fourth grader and time free of school is
occupied by sport and additional classes.
We like to hike around Bay area and near ocean time permitting and ski time and snow condition
permitting. Unfortunately time and snow are in short supply.
We like this area and ready to show our gests the best of it.
