An incredible module home off the stretch at mile marker 106 one block off a canal to the bay, it is so close to all the great night life in Key Largo too. The keys are not conducive to the South Beach feel. We have the best diving and snorkeling. Come enjoy Key Largos incredible fish, and Oceanic life. We include the use of our bicycles. We are walking distance to grocery shopping. If you are first time user click on the link for an easy explanation.... https://www.airbnb.com/c/nanderson3
We want everyone to have the best vacation possible. The Keys are paradise for us. Please be aware this is a lived in home. This is NOT a sterile hotel. We combined two family and we now have two homes. We try very hard to keep the house super clean. This is the tropics and that is a very challenging endeavor. You have full use of the kitchen and everything in it. So you are able to go to the grocery store and cook for yourselves. If there is anything in the refrigerator or cabinets use it. Sometimes you get real lucky and the guest before you really over bought.
About Key Largo
Key Largo is an island in the upper Florida Keys archipelago and, at 33 miles (53 km) long, the largest of the Keys. It is also the northernmost of the Florida Keys in Monroe County, and the northernmost of the Keys connected by U.S. Highway 1 (the Overseas Highway). Its earlier Spanish name was Cayo Largo, meaning Long Key.
Key Largo is a popular tourist destination and calls itself the "Diving Capital of the World" because the living coral reef a few miles offshore attracts thousands of scuba divers and sport-fishing enthusiasts. Key Largo is situated between Everglades National Park to the north-west and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park to the east, the first underwater park in the United States and the site of the only living coral barrier reef in the continental United States.

The house in Key Largo was very clean and comfortable and just a few minutes from Pennekamp, where we enjoyed great morning snorkeling. It's a quiet neighborhood, which is just what we were looking for. The double-headed shower was a great surprise! We also stayed at Natalie's home in Homestead. Both properties are highly recommended!
Natalie's place was exactly as described by previous reviews. The place is filled with collected items and certainly offers a unique place to stay in the Keys. Our group of 4 (two couples in their late 20s) had an excellent time staying for three nights, using Natalie's place as a base to rest and recharge at before jumping into the next Florida adventure.
We would highly recommend snorkeling at John Pennekamp State Park (a few miles up the road), and catching the sunsets on the dock at the Caribbean Club (preferably with a Corona in hand).
We got in late and the key was where she said it would be. There is a lot of props and gadgets throughout the house. Some were interesting and some where unsettling. It seemed as if we were on a movie set. There are security cameras placed outside mentioned to offer a secure feeling yet the neighborhood slightly unkept and very dark at night. The house was clean but very cluttered. We spent very little time in the house maybe that's why we never got to meet Natalie. In all not disappointed in our stay especially being that we planned our visit on a whim. We were never fully comfortable with the odd placement of items like mirrors in the bedroom and shower.
Natalie was very friendly and welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet -- no sounds from Rte. 1. The house was well-provisioned and clean and spacious for our family of four. If you like minimalist, spare interior decor, this is not the place for you; it's full of funky, fun, flea market finds. (And alliterations!) tried to give it 3 1/2 stars but can't. And now I can't change it to four !
We enjoyed our stay in Natalie and Glen's home at the northern part of Key Largo. An easy, comfortable, visit. Lots of interesting antiques, with a kitchen that made it easy to cook meals when we wished to.
The place is as advertises and Natalie was a very responsive and accommodating host! Would recommend to a friend looking for a place with some unique character!

We love to cook. We're learning to live organically and are in the process of growing our own vegetables. We are currently growing mango, avocados, lychee, longan, jack fruit, dragon fruit, loquat, ackee, bananas, jalapeno, cilantro, basil, oregano, thyme, sage, heirloom tomatoes, everglades tomato and numerous other plants . We also try to buy food only 30 miles from our house.
As diverse as we are as people we really just believe in "Down to Earth Living".
We're just trying to have fun with life! So come and join our eclectic family.
