About this listing
An incredible module home off the stretch at mile marker 106 one block off a canal to the bay, it is so close to all the great night life in Key Largo too. The keys are not conducive to the South Beach feel. We have the best diving and snorkeling. Come enjoy Key Largos incredible fish, and Oceanic life. We include the use of our bicycles. We are walking distance to grocery shopping. If you are first time user click on the link for an easy explanation.... https://www.airbnb.com/c/nanderson3
We want everyone to have the best vacation possible. The Keys are paradise for us. Please be aware this is a lived in home. This is NOT a sterile hotel. We combined two family and we now have two homes. We try very hard to keep the house super clean. This is the tropics and that is a very challenging endeavor. You have full use of the kitchen and everything in it. So you are able to go to the grocery store and cook for yourselves. If there is anything in the refrigerator or cabinets use it. Sometimes you get real lucky and the guest before you really over bought.
About Key Largo
Key Largo is an island in the upper Florida Keys archipelago and, at 33 miles (53 km) long, the largest of the Keys. It is also the northernmost of the Florida Keys in Monroe County, and the northernmost of the Keys connected by U.S. Highway 1 (the Overseas Highway). Its earlier Spanish name was Cayo Largo, meaning Long Key.
Key Largo is a popular tourist destination and calls itself the "Diving Capital of the World" because the living coral reef a few miles offshore attracts thousands of scuba divers and sport-fishing enthusiasts. Key Largo is situated between Everglades National Park to the north-west and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park to the east, the first underwater park in the United States and the site of the only living coral barrier reef in the continental United States.
This is a family home so the main thing is to just be respectful of everyone in the house and of the things in the house. This is our get away home, you get complete privacy. Smoking is not allowed inside the house. Smoking outside is ok. Free wi-fi is included.
You will have a key and can come and go at any hour.
We were very pleased with our stay at Natalie's property. She was prompt in giving us access details, and the description and photos perfectly described the home. There was an amazing collection of artifacts and antiques in all rooms, making it fun and interesting to explore.
The neighborhood was fine, no problems at all. Location was close to Pennekamp, which was nice for us as snorkeling was on our list of activities in Key Largo.
Lastly, the property was clean and served as a great resting place for us after the sun went down. I can recommend this to others seeking something eclectic and unique, different from typical hotels, etc.
Thanks for the use of your home, Natalie. :)
Una casa muy grande y muy bien localizada al un par de manzanas de la carreta principal. Perfecta para explorar los Everglades y el resto de los Cayos. Tiene una cocina muy equipada, dos baños completos.
Natalie's house was great. I'm sorry for bringing some trouble during stay. Wish you don't mind.
We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was clean, easy to find and welcoming.
This was absolutely the best possible place to have stayed. The house was exactly what the name implies: one really does Live Like An Islander in Key Largo here: fantastic location, walkable to nightlife and attractions, and the house is soooooo charming! At the top of our list for future Key Largo adventures, hands down.
The house is awesome, we love the house, the two nights there is beautiful, very close to state park and easy to go to anywhere.
The bathroom is so nice. Quiet neighborhood, which is wonderful.

We love to cook. We're learning to live organically and are in the process of growing our own vegetables. We are currently growing mango, avocados, lychee, longan, jack fruit, dragon fruit, loquat, ackee, bananas, jalapeno, cilantro, basil, oregano, thyme, sage, heirloom tomatoes, everglades tomato and numerous other plants . We also try to buy food only 30 miles from our house.
As diverse as we are as people we really just believe in "Down to Earth Living".
We're just trying to have fun with life! So come and join our eclectic family.
