We have lives outside of BNB where we each work a job and also have family and friends.
Also keep in mine, this is a big city, things can be loud in the city, and you are sharing a unit with others. If you cannot follow the rules or deal with some city noise / apartment noise and are a light sleeper, we suggest ear plugs or a hotel (though a hotel still has noise).

Thank you Jessi for the excellent accommodations. The location is great: 2 blocks away from the Red line subway and a stone throw away from Divvy bike station which I used to bike around town for $7! Your place nice, butmorethen that, the effort you put into meeting and greeting me was excellent. Many thanks for all your recommendations. I finally did make it to Boystown.
Clean house, big room, great location and lovely hosts! Would definitely stay here again
My companion and I enjoyed the stay but learned kind of last minute that our hosts wouldn't be available during our stay. We rolled with it anyway since we were just excited to be in the city. However, upon arrival, we were told we couldn't be checked in at our agree-upon time (which was already pushed back an hour). Exhausted after a 9-hour car trip, we, again, rolled with the change in plans and waited with our bags in a Panera Bread down the st. Eventually, we were informed that a man name Luis (?) could check us in. Nobody told us who he was or why he was checking us in, so we were kind of confused. Nonetheless he was friendly, quick, and we rolled with it. Obviously we were disappointed in the confusing change of plans but we kept in mind that this can happen with air b&bs. I guess we just didn't expect it from such a positively-rated and expensive host. Aside from the check-in, our stay was easy, the apartment was cozy and clean (loved the bed!! very comfortable!), and we will definitely be coming back to Chicago. Thank you.
Sorry that we had not mentioned or Luis (not sure if he mentioned it) Luis is Jessi's nephew and close family member. Sorry we had our best friend and Luis coordinating the checkins for that day since we have a life outside of Airbnb, but decide to not cancel on people when they book. I'm sure you appreciate the fact that we have NEVER cancelled on anyone, even if we need to go out of town. We also mentioned to you the arrangement of how we would have our friend provide you with the keys. You mentioned that you would be arriving at 4pm but you actually arrived far earlier (which does happen and is ok). Change of plans do happen in life and we roll with it but you should be flexible as we were. Nonetheless it appears that you enjoyed the bed and the location. We never cancel on people, and you should be glad that it went without a hitch as we have others who can help us when plans do change :) We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the bed and that you enjoyed Chicago :) Cheers.
Very kind walkthrough of the space when I arrived, which was nice. The bed was very comfortable, and the area was a very cheap cab (or Uber) ride from downtown. I had a great stay, thanks!
Appart bien situé, près d'une station de metro. Dommage qu'il soit un peu vieux. Hôte très sympathique et disponible si besoin.
We are glad that you enjoyed your stay here in Chicago. You are always welcome back to our place any time or any of our other places. Yes the building is a bit old, but the location cannot be beat if you want good night life and near proximity to all the public transportation areas in Chicago.
Perfect! The room was as expected, you hear the train downstair but for us it was not a problem... maybe for sensitive people it could be but still the place is great, very good located and hosts are very helpfull and nice!
Caroline you are absolutely right that there are trains that pass by that can make noise and that for people who cannot sleep at night due to noise, they might want to consider booking elsewhere! We definitely have it listed on our listing to make sure we are appropriately being transparent with people. You were a pleasant guest to have and definitely happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay here. You are always welcome back!
Absolutely fantastic. Bill is a great host and extremely helpful no matter what time of day. Jes is very efficient and will make sure you have no problems upon arrival. Definitely recommend staying here.

We love living in Chicago, as we have lived here all our lives and believe that it is the best city on earth. We have several places here in Chicago, some in the near northside, some in the loop and downtown, and some near McCormick place. All the places have one thing in common, and that is our ability to cater to the needs of our guests since they are all in close proximity to each other. We both work in downtown, have jobs during the day, and live the city life by night. We love to provide guidance to anyone coming into Chicago!
We have also traveled to destination such as Jamaica, Spain and Greece, Canada, Mexico, and every where that has some great culture. We intend on using Airbnb ourselves to go to Italy and some other locations in the next couple of months. We have utilized Airbnb for our stays in other states as well with great success as well recently.
Our life motto is : One Door Closes Another One Opens (we love to meet new people)
We love to network, and are truely business savvy individuals, work with non-profits and charities through our business and we are truely professional. We will be a great host to you and/or your travel companion/stay companion. If you have any questions about Chicago or anything at all, feel free to contact us. We love to establish communication because as we all know, communication is key to success in anything, Including Travel! We will be your friends and your family in Chicago, though we might not get to experience the town as you might or have time that to go with you or be there to experience your adventures, we always love to hear about great/bad experiences so we can always help our future guests as we consider everyone equal and we want EVERYONE to experience the great parts of Chicago!
WE LIKE THE BOOK THE FOLLOWING GUESTS :
We expect all guests to treat our places like a home, not like a hotel. People need to be cleanly, throw our their own garbage, clean after their cooking, and respect our home.
If you are in need of a temporary office space that you can meet clients at while in the city, we can provide that as well for business functionality which is not located in any of our homes.
All who come with a positive attitude and respect for our home; and we affirm that nationality, race, age, religion and sexual orientation are no issue. We have booked over 1500 guests over the past couple years and we have never turned anyone away or cancelled on anyone.
Things that we like to do includes
1. Go to concerts, classic rock, rock, dubstep, alternative, anything that is good!
2. We love to eat, and eat out. We know where the great places in Chicago are, so def. ask
3. We love to make new friends and learn about new cultures.
4. We know where all the nightlife spots are and where all the day tourism spots are so definitely ask if you need some recommendations
5. We are both within 5 minutes of Chicago 99 percent of the time. We are within 15 minutes in response on the phone, email, text, Facebook, etc ;) If we are not, we have at least 4 friends and family that well trained for all property management and checkin / checkout process that can assist us.
6. We are down to earth, we make mistakes just like everyone, we are not perfect, we are easy to make friends with :)
EXTRA STUFF WE CAN MAGICALLY DO SOMETIMES BELOW!! :)
++++potential free/password access to busy clubs/nightlife (that typically charge cover) in the Chicago before 12pm. ASK before hand which clubs you are interested in and we will get you the password for free entry :)
++++excellent knowledge and guidance for nightlife, restaurants, and places to visit in the city (we've been Chicagoans forever)
