The house was exactly as described! My family truly enjoyed our stay! It was secluded and the property was beautiful. We took a nice walk around the barn. This is definitely a lovely place to relax, unplug and unwind!

We had a really nice stay at Valère's lovely home. The house is large and spacious, with an incredible view. Interior design is vintage and fun - lots of well-appropriated items and careful thought to the amenities in the home. With just one bathroom, a large group might have trouble sorting out usage but we found it worked just fine with 6 people. We especially loved sitting on the little front stoop with morning coffee as the mist dried up with the heat of the sun and then going to sleep to the sound of crickets.

Valerie's house is a comfortable, clean house that's far enough from the road that you'd think you were all alone in the mountains. There is plenty of sleeping space, a modern wood stove, and a professional gas range for cooking. Valere left detailed instructions on how to operate everything and made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay before we got there.

The flower gardens at Valere's home are stunning -- the hydrangeas and blackeyed susans were in peak bloom when we visited in August. While the house is off a main road and is easy to access from downtown Roxbury, the landscaping on the property transports you to a bucolic oasis in summertime -- and what is likely a winter wonderland when the snow falls. With lots of communal space and spacious bedrooms, the home is perfect for a large group; the one downside is that there is only one bathroom. Our group was sad to leave and we would definitely come back! Thanks!
