A contemporary industrial designed studio with sealed distressed cement floors and exposed pipes. A grey water system irrigates the lush southwest gardens. Be adventurous and choose the outdoor shower in the enclosed back patio to fully appreciate the warm weather! Tucked away in the historic F.Q. Story Neighborhood in downtown Phoenix. You are surrounded by charming historic homes as you walk the neighborhood. Close to local eats, parks, and museums.

The space
The Space
This studio is a detached guesthouse from the main house. It offers plenty of privacy.

Studio B is a non smoking studio. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the premises.

We do love children but Studio B is not a safe setting for small kids. There is a lot of glass and sharp edges. We ask you look for a bnb more suitable for kids. Thank you

The studio is located in central Phx and is approximately 6 miles from the Sky Harbor Airport.

Since we are centrally located, there are restaurants within easy walking distance, (.4-.9 Miles). Uber/Lyft will get you to all local restaurants/sites if you choose to not rent a car.

Our studio is within walking distance (.8-1 mile) of three beautiful parks, Margaret T. Hance, Japanese Friendship Gardens, and Encanto.

There are three grocery stores close by, including a Sprouts.

Parking is available in front of the main house on the residential street. You can park anywhere on the street for as long as you need.
There is not any driveway parking available.

A robust wifi service is available with a smart TV for online streaming.

If you need to work, a desk with an outlet is available so your laptop is easily accessible.

The kitchen offers a refrigerator, an induction built-in cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. It is fully stocked with utensils and cookware so you can prepare meals if you choose to eat on the premises. Coffee, creamer, and sugar are stocked so you can wake up on your first morning prepared. Water and light snacks are also provided.

The bathroom includes a roomy, tiled shower. Open up the window while showering to enjoy the weather outside! Private outdoor shower also available- enjoy showering outside with the chirping of wild birds in the background.

A private washer and dryer are available in the connecting storage shed off the back patio. There is laundry detergent available. There are also a garment steamer and an iron in the studio.

The bed is a queen and has a memory foam mattress. Most people consider it "firm."

You have a private entrance and back patio.

An outdoor shower is available in the enclosed back patio.

The main house has renters in it, but they don't mind you walking back and forth from the main street out front.

Free parking - You can park anywhere on the residential street for as long as you need. The driveway is for the main house renters.

The main house back patio is the renters, but you have plenty of space with your own patio.

The check-in process is a self-check in.

The Smart TV does not have cable or an antennae. It is meant for online streaming. To watch your personal online streaming apps, just sign into any of your personal accounts (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, news channels, etc.). Be sure to sign out when you leave!

The F. Q. Story Neighborhood Historic District is located in central Phoenix, Arizona, USA. The neighborhood runs from McDowell Road south to Roosevelt Street and from Seventh Avenue west to Grand Avenue. The neighborhood as well as many of the individual houses are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The F.Q. Story neighborhood consists of 602 homes that were constructed from the late 1920s through the late 1940s. A variety of architectural styles, including Spanish Colonial Revival, English Tudor, Craftsman bungalows as well as transitional ranch are represented within the neighborhood.

I live in F.Q. Story with my husband, Ron, who literally created Studio B from an empty space with 4 walls. We have lived in this neighborhood for 30+ years and still love the unique houses, creative atmosphere and great location. We welcome everyone at Studio B!
