The Byre is a beautiful stone built studio retreat on a 16th century farmstead. Ensuite shower & loo, and wonderful views. Queen size 4 poster bed, rustic stone walls, and rural artefacts, a place to enjoy simple country living. Kettle, toaster, small fridge, microwave for microwaved meals, electric radiators, no wifi (good mobile data coverage). Nearby Harp Inn or The Forrest Inn are great for more comprehensive meals & have log burning fires by which to rest after the walk (or drive!) there.

Our Byre guests enjoy access to the wild flower meadows, woodland.

Other things to note
Note, we provide a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, but full kitchen oven, hob and laundry facilities are not available in our rustic retreat. Washing up is via the washing up bowl and water from the ensuite basin!
