About this listing

Here is our house in Paris, near beautiful parks of Buttes Chaumont and La Villette, and near famous Canal St Martin. It's ideal for a family (two small childrens), with a big open space downstairs and two bedrooms !
Leone, our cat, will stay at home with you. Don't need to feed him, just to give him a hug once in a while.

The space

Ideal for a family ! The house is located in a very nice popular area, full of good shops (great bakery and gorgeous pastries, perfect butcher, fish, vegetable, organic market, etc.) near Buttes Chaumont park, Canal Saint Martin and parc de la Villette. It takes 10 min Metro to go to Gare du Nord or 15 to reach Montmartre or Bastille.

The house has 3 floors : open kitchen and living room at ground floor, open on the courtyard, one children bedroom at first floor (one children bed and one baby bed, with the bathroom, and one attic double bedroom for the parents.

The house is full equiped (except tv, dryer and microwave, sorry), with Wi-Fi or cable Internet.

We can also provide everything for babies (baby cook, toys, high chair).

We like to give our place to nice people who will enjoy it and take care of it.

We stayed at Assia'a apartment for four days in July 2014. We had the opportunity to meet both Assia and Claudio when we arrived and they were able to show us around their place before they left for their own trip. The aparment was large, clean, and served our needs as it was about a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro station, which allowed us to explore Paris everyday and return back at night very easily. Overall a great experience!

I stayed in Assia's apartment for exactly 1 month. It was everything I had hoped for to make my first experience in Paris a very positive one and truly a memorable experience. This was my first time in Paris and I felt as though I was "home". Her apartment had everything I needed. The kitchen was perfect for cooking, the place was massive and clean, and just very comfortable, which is very important for someone as particular as myself. It was everything as it looked on the photos provided on her profile. Though she wasn't there in person to meet me, she arranged for her friend to welcome me and give me the details I needed to get me started. She left very detailed instructions on how to find my way around, left maps, and essentially told me the house is "yours". She made herself available and also made local contacts available to me in case of emergency as she was out of the country. She checked in with me via email and phone. She truly was a very helpful and gracious, welcoming hostess. It was because of her that my first Parisian experience was so incredibly positive. The neighbourhood is fantastic. It is safe and fairly quiet (apart from the occasional sirens). Despite being on a major street, it's still fairly quiet. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the closest Metro station and you're in the center of Paris within 15-20 minutes. There are loads of restaurants, supermarkets, bars all within walking distance. I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. She even had a house cleaner clean the apartment during my stay. Had she been gone for a much longer period, I would have rented it for much longer. Merci beaucoup, Assia!!!
