We had an outstanding stay at Anya's place in Bernal. The apartment is beautiful and super comfy. It's nice and quiet but right around the corner from restaurants and grocery stores. It's super close to the Mission and just down the street from the Bernal Heights Hilltop, which offers amazing views. It was pretty rainy while we were there, so we didn't have a chance to use the back patio, but if the weather had permitted, it would've been the icing on the cake.

Anya's place was perfect. The furnishings and art was great, the kitchen was huge, and the back yard space was perfect for an afternoon nap. Anya was a great host throughout or interactions, quick to respond to questions and helpful when needed. I strongly recommend her place!

Thank you to Anya for a lovely stay at this cozy apartment in Bernal! We loved the location as close to the Mission and great parts of the city but also just private enough, with Bernal Hill and its amazing views only a few steps away. The place is close to a strip of cute shops, bakeries and restaurants in Bernal Heights but not too busy or loud, which was perfect for us and this trip. The apartment itself is adorable, well-decorated and decked out with everything you would want to enjoy yourself there for a few days — including a back deck! We especially enjoyed playing records on the turntable, cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen and relaxing in the hammock. We would definitely choose here to stay again in San Francisco as it offered an ideal mix of comfort, location and charm. Thanks again!

Overall a pretty good place and experience. Cute, clean and as represented online. One of the better spots around Bernal we have found and tried. Would potentially stay again. A few minor items that offer room for improvement-- need a better front door code lock, auto-on lighting on the front porch would be nice so one can see the code lock better and for security reasons too, the back porch double french doors are not very secure and should be reinforced, there is too much street noise as the unit is next door to Martha's coffee shop and very close to busy Cortland Ave. so maybe better insulated windows would help with noise pollution. The owner also failed to email me the check in info as requested over email, so I had to follow up with her over email and voicemail the night before to get the info needed in order to access the unit.
