Alleyn is amazingly sweet and so informative about what it is available around town. The stay could not have been any more comfortable. The room was cozy and she set out fruits to grab on the go. Also, she made amazing lattes! When I come back to Portland, I will definitely stay here.
Had a great trip to Portland with my wife which was made better by Alleyn's place and it's location.
The apartment is in a great part of town that has lots of great shops and restaurants to explore.
Thank you Alleyn for making our stay comfortable.
Alleyn is such a WONDERFUL host. She is personable, happy and has a great story about a chicken running on the loose! I can tell she loves hosting for her guests and has much knowledge about Portland. My mother and I only stayed for one night but it was enough to feel so welcomed and cozy. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous, clean and warm. Her location is spot on and a couple blocks away from NW23rd. I will definitely come back for a longer vacation and explore Portland some more.
Alleyn is PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!!!! I only wish I could have stayed longer. Will definitely return here anytime my travels take me to Portland!
Great host who went out of her way to make my stay in Portland an enjoyable one. I would stay at her home again.
Welcoming, cozy and comfortable.... Alleyn has you feeling right at home from the moment you walk in the door!!! Easy access to restaurants, shops & baseline.
Lorrie and I had a wonderful stay with Alleyn this past weekend! Her home is in a great location in Nob Hill, close to public transportation and a fun shopping/dining district.
Our room was very comfortable and clean, and the entire house is beautifully appointed. Alleyn is very friendly, and very knowledgeable of the area. We look forward to staying with you again when we're next in Portland!
Alleyn is a very sweet host and this location is awesome, easy walking distance to all kinds of great food and shopping. Also super close to the 405 so getting to anywhere by car only takes a few minutes. Alleyn has lived in Portland a long time and is a great source of information about the area.
My friend and I stayed here for 5 days on a girls weekend. Alleyn was very nice and accommodating, and her home was beautiful. The neighborhood is really cute and public transportation is easy to catch. It's a few blocks walk to the main part of NW 23rd where shops and eateries are, so it's not right in the thick of things. She has other rooms to rent in the home, so you should be willing to chat a bit with other guests. The home was warm, welcoming and a great place to stay in Portland. I recommend it!
Our second stay and as pleasant as the first. Clean, comfortable room and excellent suggestions for restaurants. A wonderful bakery within easy walking distance. We'll stay here whenever we are in Portland.
