Other Things to Note
Ducketts Grove and Browneshill Dolmen are very close and great to view. We can also arrange golf at Carlow, Mount Wolsley, and Bunclody Golf courses. If you would like to watch polo, we can organise a visit to Bunclody Polo club to view the ponies practicing and create a picnic experience
(mid May to mid September only).
Mucky shoes must remain at the door as carpets are light coloured and I love a clean space. Please try to be tidy.
Lovely country retreat, quiet, fresh air, lovely views, not far from the beautiful town of Carlow. Geraldine and Paul are lovely, welcoming hosts. Their home is your home. Beds are so comfortable and facilities are great, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Highly recommend.
We had a great time staying here. Geraldine and her husband were super nice and accommodating. Geraldine also knows the surrounding areas really well and sent us on a route through the Wicklow mountains that was just stunning, a route that we would have bypassed without her input. It was a highlight of our trip.
Our children really enjoyed running through the fields in the back and playing with their dogs. We all really enjoyed ourselves.
(air)bnb at it best: very warm welcome and hospitality, in a beautiful house in a not less beautiful region. We had 2 great days. Btw, thanks again Geraldine for your advice regarding Mt Leinster. Best regards from the whole family
Very welcoming gracious hosts in a beautiful country setting.
Superb accommodation. I had an opportunity to interact with
friendly dogs and horses which I enjoyed very much.
I hope to have an opportunity re-visit.
We had a lovely short stay at this B&B. Geraldine and Paul made us feel very welcome. They even surprised us with a bottle of bubbly and chocolates in our room when we arrived as I had mentioned it was our anniversary. They have a beautiful home and we loved every minute of our stay. Carlow town is just a few minutes drive away and Geraldine was able to recommend some good places to eat out.
