We had wonderful time! The hosts are so friendly and lovely, helped us in everything ! We are so thankful and surprised that we recommend everybody to rent this house. Very good communicated, really close to a lot of supermarkets, restaurants, gym, beautiful botanic gardens, quiet and friendly neighborhood. All the rooms are very ample and comfortable. Everything was simply perfect !
Will never forget this experience.
A nice, spacious house close to both the city (walking distance but public transport right around the corner) and the airport. Grainne was a fantastic host, providing great recommendations for local restaurants/pubs and letting us know everything about the house. Would recommend to everyone coming to Dublin . Thanks again Grainne!
The house is very comfortable, tidy and with everything you need to enjoy a pleasant stay.
The house was lovely and ideally situated only a mile or so from the City but in a pleasant quiet (website hidden) was large with plenty of room for the seven guests and sufficient on street parking.Grainne was an excellent host who not only provided a much appreciated welcome pack but made us feel at home from the outset. She made sure that we had more than enough information prior to arrival and was more than flexible regrading arrival/departure times.I would definitely recommend Grainne and her house to other Airbnb members
A really lovely house and hosts, such a pleasure to stay. We had three generations travelling together and there was comfortable space for all and even things to do when the weather turned inclement, which was a real bonus with children in the party.
I also can't emphasise enough how thoughtful our hosts were. When we couldn't get the central heating to work (don't worry, didn't appear to be a recurring issue), one of them immediately drove for 2hrs to come back and sort it out for us. And did I mention the still warm scones waiting for us when we arrived? Also just lovely and warm people.
Also a good spot for visiting Dublin. A pretty, characterful quiet neighbourhood. There's a useful bus stop with regular buses just up the road, which is good if you'd rather avoid taking a car into town. Also just up the road was a convenience store and and some eateries.
Would absolutely recommend it, and would stay there again in a second if returning.
Overall, it was a fabulous experience. Meeting Grainne (and a couple of her children)/renting a private home in Dublin was a true highlight of our trip! Grainne is a magnificent host! Her personality is phenomenal; I felt like I had known her forever upon our first in-person meeting. She is extremely helpful, flexible, knowledgeable and very willing to go the extra mile. Her house has a lot of character and easily accommodates 6-7 people. The large, old-fashioned bathtub in the master bedroom was so relaxing after long days of touring the city. Her recommendation of a local pub, easily within 10 minutes walking distance of her house, led to many good times and fun connections with some real residents of Dublin.
We stayed here over St Patricks Day weekend. The house was perfect , we had a big group of friends staying and the house was just perfec for all of us . So much space and lovely rooms for each of us , the master bedroom is amazing with a we were all saying how comfy all the beds were ! So great for a great nights sleep. The house itself is great lots of light and very nicely decorated with a homley feel. The location was great you can get into central town with a just a quick bustop. Granine was very helpful and so lovely giving us lots of tips and advice on places to go and see ,her directions were perfect. She was a very lovely hosy and so accomodating she even left food for us to eat which was so lovely . One of the best places in ireland to stay and I would highly reccomend it and we will definately stay here again ! Thank you for the amazing stay we had a wonderful time !
Grainne was a fabulous host and her family were a delight to meet - we had a great stay. Grainne provided everything we could possibly need and was very attentive. The house is easy to reach by taxi from the airport, and by bus if you don't mind a short 15 minute walk. The city is a comfortable walk or bus ride away, and the house is very close to one of Dublin's most famous pubs.
The beds were comfortable, the house was tidy and that claw-footed bath is as good as it looks.
