Nice comfortable place close to everything, easy and secure access to the apartment and great views! Nick is very accesible and a great host!
I have a mixed review about this apartment. Nick was incredibly hard to get a response from about key exchange etc until the week before when I let him know I was beginning to get worried about the booking going ahead. Once I did get a hold of him he confirmed the listing was good to go, however I then had to contact him further to get any information about how to get the keys or even what apartment number we were staying in. Once we finally got that information and got into the apartment, we discovered it was not the exact apartment in the photos, but it was very similar. It was a slightly more run down version, which was not a huge issue as it was still functioning and liveable. The bed was only a small double and VERY hard, so if you are not staying with someone you are close with or don't mind sharing a bed with I wouldn't recommend staying here. The TV was equipped with Roku, which initially was fantastic, however the Wi-Fi is so unreliable it was consistently dropping out. We also couldn't have more than one device connected to the Wi-Fi at a time, as it wouldn't work. The laundry was also getting refurbished as we stayed there so we had no access to that either. All in all it wasn't the worst airbnb experience but it definitely wasn't as amazing as the profile made it look.
Awesome Location (few minutes from hollywood Blvd/grauman's Chinese theatre) & great view! The host was very nice & responded quickly to our needs. However there was a construction going on right in front of our building, which was annoying in the morning. Also the wifi needs to be better (we only had low signal or no signal).
I was very impressed with the room, it's decor, very clean with spectacular views of the city. I would stay there again
We had a nice time staying at Nicks place. Apartment was not as nice as pictured but still nice for the price. The location was good. The best part of the apartment was the view especially at sunrise. Also, parking was very simple and apartment felt very safe. Nick was a good host who went out of his way for some of our requests. Overall good experience. Big suggestions would be to bring your own towels and washcloths.
We stayed at Stunning Hollywood Highrise for 4 days during our 3 week holiday around america. For us it was great as we were really looking for a central location that was cost effective where we could crash at the end of our day out exploring LA. But that's pretty much what it is.... a place to crash. It was as advertised with all furniture etc as per photos. The kitchen was great but there's no plates or cups so grab some of those from the grocery store. I think the check in process could be a little smoother. Maybe just flick the client an email the day before letting them know the apartment number and that the room is open with the keys on the bench. Will make it so much easier and less waiting around for the guests. The bed and bedding also needs updating and a freshen up. The TV could use some better instructions and possibly updating also as we just couldn't work it out. But overall, as advertised and a great stay. Toilet paper and towels provided and clean space in great location.
