I have stayed in a number of Airbnbs over the years and will say, without a doubt, that my stay at the Stuydio was one of the best thus far. Nichelle is attentive, thoughtful, and has taken great care to create a space that is inviting and fully stocked with every little thing that you need. You name it and Nichelle has thought of it!
The studio itself is spacious and pristine, close to public transportation, quiet with plenty of nearby parking. It was hard to leave, quite honestly.
I hope to return soon.
Thanks again Nichelle!
I just love the simplicity and at the same time very complexe city of Brooklyn. The heat of girls jumping rope on the street and neighbours chilling on the street will make you feel at home. Under the subway trail are plenty of delicious deli's and stores where are very much cheaper than Manhattan. A walk on Broadway street is a must to discover the most authentic graffitis of malcom x and other paintings. Other than that, you can keep going on Broadway and discover the beautiful and not pretentious Williamsburg. A hipster but artful area where you can go to the artists market and encourage local purchases. Brooklyn is a completely different world to Manhattan, where the vibe is so much cooler.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Stuydio. It was clean and bright, had everything we needed and it felt much bigger than it looks in the photos. Shelly is friendly and helpful and looks after you without interfering in your business. She was quick to respond to any questions and her recommendations were always right on the mark. My advice to future guests: if Shelly recommends a restaurant...GO! You will not be disappointed.
The neighborhood is lovely, full of historic brownstone townhouses, tree-lined streets, and friendly neighbors. We walked to and from the subway every day and often returned home after dark, but never felt uncomfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the stoop steps in the evening, and loved waking up to the birds in the back yard singing every morning.
Shelly is a caring and conscientious hostess who genuinely wants her guests to enjoy their stay. For example, even though she is not one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she went out of her way to introduce us to another group of Witnesses from France who were staying in the apartment upstairs simply because she knew how much it mattered to us.
We loved every minute of our stay and highly recommend The Stuydio to future visitors.
Thank you, Shelly, for making our stay so comfortable.
Amazing place! The subway is nearby even an express stop (nice for the late night trains). We were 4 girls and we loved this little studio!
We would go back if we ever went back to NYC!
Nichelle was wonderful from the start. Met us straight away and was very helpful showing us exactl where everything was. The apartment was wonderful, clean and cozy.
This was my first experience with Air bnb and I'm so happy that Nichelle was the host. She made us feel like we were in a home away from home and we had just met an old friend.
The apartment was stunning, Nichelle thought of everything for our needs, the neighbourhood was quiet and so close to the subway.
I would recommend staying with Nichelle to anyone who is thinking of it.
