  • Nichelle was an awesome host. My wife and I spent a weekend in March 2014 in NY and although if was cold and rainy outside the studio was a warm and cozy retreat. The studio had all you would need for a weekend or extended stay. It was clean with all the amenities plus a comfortable bed. Great location, 7min walk from the subway that will get you anywhere you need to go. Neighborhood felt quite safe. Nichelle was pleasant, timely with all her responses and available if there were any questions. We definitely recommend booking this delightful studio.

  • Nichelle is very nice and helpful. The apartment is very cozy, quiet and equipped with everything you need. The large beds are very comfortable. Due to the nearby subway stations you are very flexible and can move in all directions. If we come again to NYC, we would like to stay here again.

  • We had a fine time in Brooklyn. The neighborhood was very interesting and charming, undoubtedly a highlight of our trip to New York City.

  • Nichelle was absolutely the best! She was welcoming from the start, introducing her sons to my children. This was my first experience renting from a private host as opposed to a hotel. My children were very pleased with the space they had. The added air conditioning proved to be a plus after travelling around NYC during humid weather. Her directions for utilizing the subway systems were totally on point which allowed me to feel a little more comfortable with travelling without my van. We loved the decor...and to top it off...the whirlpool bathtub was wonderful! I had one of those "Calgon" moments by the end of our trip. Outside of NOT always being so lucky, in terms of getting a parking space in front of the house, (I guess that comes with the NYC territory), everything else was great, the amount of space, the beds were comfy, there were extra blankets and sheets, and the washer and dryer were an added bonus. Thanks again Nichelle for opening your home to us and Good Luck with your new Hair Products Line...I will definitely be checking it out! With Love, LaTanya and family ~July 2012

  • Nichelle's beautiful brownstone was a great place to stay. It was close to bus routes & subway routes which was great for getting around in and out of Brooklyn. She and her family were warm and helpful. Nichelle was very prompt in getting back to us which made it easy for us to book as well as the tips for great restaurants nearby. The beds were comfortable and it was nice & cool after being out in the heat & humidity all day. The washer & dryer came in handy, just make sure to run the dryer while you're out because it heats up the place especially in the summer. All in all this is a great place to stay for the price and location. We appreciate her and her family's hospitality. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Nichelle's place is great! Super cozy and modern, and in a really cute neighborhood (and pretty close to the city). It's a great way to explore the city without having to spend lots of $$. Nichelle is really friendly and helpful as well.

  • We had such a great time at Nichelle's place! Wonderful room, cool neighbourhood, awesome person :)

  • Nichelle was a great host!! Our flight was delayed an hour and we arrived in NYC kind of late, and she was totally understanding. She's super personable and knows all the hot spots to visit. The apartment looks EXACTLY like the picture, we were shocked. The best part about it, there's a washer/dryer in the unit and we were able to do our laundry before heading back home! Overall, we had a blast and we unanimously agreed we would stay at her unit again when we come back!!! Thanks Nichelle for your wonderful hospitality
