Conveniently located (0.8) miles from I-64 and (0.9) miles from downtown Charleston is a super clean, very safe/secure (there is a police detachment 50 feet from the front door), and completely comfortable/quiet/relaxing (4) floor (2,300+ square feet), (4) bedrooms, (1.5) baths, (83) year old home with original woodwork (mission-style). Full privileges throughout except other's personal bedrooms.

There are (3) features that make this home perfect = 1. Location, 2. Security, and NOW for the 3rd!

The space
The 3rd = AMENITIES

* YOUR BEDROOM (BLUE) = A (9x12 foot) bedroom (Pics 31-39) that has a queen-sized memory foam bed. To complement the comfortable bed are luxurious (1,200 per-square-inch thread count) bed sheets, (2) Dream Science Memory Foam pillows, and (2) Ralph Lauren hypoallergenic fiber-fill pillows. Be prepared to sleep-in! A (3) drawer dresser and night-stand is provided, along with closet space with wooden hangers.

* INTERNET (WiFi) = Suddenlink's 400 mbps service, on top of one of Charleston's most secure private networks (2.4 ghz & 5.0 ghz bands), is provided throughout the property. You will NEVER "buffer" here.

* FULL BATHROOM (2nd Floor) = There is a 1930's claw-foot bath tub, with shower attachment. The original tile floor and a newer vanity sink, along with shelf space is available in the bathroom closet.

* HALF BATHROOM = (1st Floor) = The original tile floor and a newer vanity sink is provided.

* KITCHEN + PANTRY = A FULLY-furnished kitchen is provided (all pots, pans, utensils and tools)! A Keurig Elite along with K-Cups, creamer, sugar, and stirs are provided for coffee. You may cook, although most prefer to experience Charleston's local favorites. Formal-plate ware (along with more casual-plate ware) is available, being flanked by J.A. Henckels Flatware. (2 = 1 from the ceiling + 1 on the wall) hanging pot/pan holders adorn the Pantry, along with shelf space is available.

* DINING ROOM = There is a historic (but looks very, very plain) Table, surrounded by (4) dining chairs.

* LIVING ROOM = There is a (60 inch) flat screen TV (with an Amazon Fire TV Stick connected) that is hard-wired to a WiFi Access Point, of the main LAN (Local Area Network). This makes for blazing fast 4K streaming of services like Netflix, Hulu, Sling, and many, many more.

* LOWER-LEVEL (BASEMENT) = Pedicure/massage chair (to sooth those tense muscles) and a washer/dryer is available for week long (or longer) Airbnb'ers or $7 per load.

Guest access
Again, full privileges throughout except other's personal bedrooms. It is asked that you simply clean up after yourself.

Other things to note
Please keep in mind that this is a very big home, (4) floor (2,300+ square feet) and there are a total of (4) bedrooms. (1) is mine (Scott = I do live in the home = The Loft), (2) are currently "Airbnb bedrooms" (Master + Blue), and the other bedroom (Purple) is occasionally rented out to what I call "repeaters". Guests that have stayed at the home before and are staying again. So they are experienced and great.

Even during the rare occasion that all bedrooms are reserved at the same time, you may see another (15) minutes out of (24) hour period. This is because of the amenities provided.

What else could be said, other than this home is (50) feet from a Charleston Police Dept detachment, that most C.P.D. officers visit, more than frequently (if not daily)! For their job, they are given a state-of-the-art workout facility. Guess what, it's across the street. You may see anywhere from (1-20 = has been seen before) police cars out front of the home, at any given time. Don't worry about this, just feel the most secure in your life! I have been told, numerous times, "it's nearly an invincible location"!

A little about myself. Most would say that I am OCD when it comes to cleanliness and they are correct. That is how I was raised as a child. I am a perfectionist (I focus on the minute details) in everything I do and seeing all details through to completion! It's not about being better than others, it's about being the best I can be. If you put your heart into something and give it your all, the rest will fall into place. Think different! I am very outgoing and personable. That comes from working in radio (when it was very cool = from early 1992 - late 1995) and being a professional mobile DJ for over (21) years (from mid 1992 - mid 2013). I have worked at Super 102 (now Electric - 102.7 on the radio dial in Charleston = Top 40), WQBE (97.5 on the radio dial in Charleston = Country), and a couple other smaller stations. Throughout my radio career, I met just-about, every single major artist(s)/bands during the time period. I could tell you some cool stories! LOL Despite being as (very outgoing & personable) such, my guests dictate the interation that they would like to have. I look forward to your stay and experiencing the magic of this big-ole, historic home! Scott

During your stay
Whatever seems natural. Sometimes quite a lot, other times not nearly as much. This is often dictated by how much my guests are even here at the home. Generally, my guests spend a great deal of time sleeping, working, or checking out the Capitol cit.

I am very easy to get along with, I enjoy meeting new people, but I am also happy to respect my guest's privacy.
