Enjoy an uninterrupted 180° view over the lake and watch the sun rise and set over the Andes from the comfort of this private upper-floor apartment.
The work of a notable local architect, the property has two bedrooms, an open plan living/dining area with a huge picture window, high ceilings of exposed cypress timbers, a small balcony, and lots of natural light.
Guests have found this to be an extremely convenient base. The main lake-side avenue linking the centre with the National Park, Llao Llao and Cerro Catedral is just half a block away. A few minutes’ walk away are some of Bariloche's best-rated restaurants and finest lake-side beach, and within the same complex there is a small precinct of shops, where you'll find a grocers, a butchers and a general store. The bus stop for regular services in all directions is 50 metres away.

There is also a shared garden with a seating area and an Argentine BBQ, and a car-parking space.
The owner will be more than happy to provide assistance with trip-planning, both pre-departure and during your stay.
Renting an apt in Bariloche can be a tough decision because there are so many to chose from. The property manager, Ashley, came recommended to us & we simply chose an apt that he was affiliated with. We've been on an 8 month trip, used Airbnb many times & Ashley was hands down the best property mgr...it's not only the apt in which you stay but the info you have of the local area. Ashley met us personally, went through an impressive binder of the resources in Bariloche & continued to be a resource even after we checked out. Top notch. Now the apt itself...totally met our expectations. View is tremendous. The fact that the apt is above a grocery store, veggie store, meat store & restuarant made our 1st week in Bariloche super easy. Close to town but not in the thick of it. There were four of us...the bunk bed room was for the kids and they slept well each night...for me, maybe too much street noise but much to Bariloche's rentals are in the center or in Bustillo and you will have street noise. So whether you rent this apt or not, I wold definitely look at what Ashley has in his portfolio and make an effort to rent from him. He went out of his way to help us navigate a few things (arriving a day early for our rental thinking it was the right day...totally my fault...and seeking a longer term rental when we decided to stay another three weeks)...just enormously helpful to have a great vacation in beautiful Bariloche.
As indicated in previous reviews - the apartment is a perfect way to visit Bariloche. Great location, clean, well maintained and well equipped. Ashley, who was very helpful and informative, also assembled a great mini-guide to cover many of the typical questions us travelers have (from where to exchange currency to good hikes). If I could be back in Bariloche - this is where I would try to stay.
We loved our stay here & preferred being a few km outside the main town. The apartment is just as it appears in the pictures. Ashley was very helpful & friendly, arranging a hire car at a good price & giving lots of info on the local area & places to eat. If staying for a few days would recommend hiring a car, but local buses are very frequent. The shops below the flat are really handy & sell most things you need; the restaurant serves good, simple food.
Our plane was delayed 9 hours & there was no internet or mobile phone coverage, so unable to contact Ashley as didn't realise you need a different code when using a public payphone.
If you are booking a trip to Bariloche stay here, don't consider staying anywhere else. The apartment was exactly as it appeared on the website. Ashley was amazing! He was very prompt (which my husband and I appreciate very much) and quick with communications. He was also very informative with regard to everything in and around the town. The location of the apartment is fantastic! We took the local bus into town as well to Llao Llao. It was also close to Cerro Catedral for skiing. Be sure to check the value on the bus pass which you can add value to at most Mylka locations (one right below the apartment). Also there is a nice market and produce stand within walking distance which was really nice. There is a beautiful view from every window of the apartment. It was clean, well stocked and had the most comfortable bed we have experienced while traveling. I am not sure when we will be back in Bariloche but I would definitely stay here or at any of Ashley's properties again.
I stayed in the apartment for 10 days and it was perfect, the apartment is exactly the same as appears in the photos, in all details. The gas heater´s are very good, the apartment was very clean, the sheets and towels are perfect and the lake view was amazing. Ashley was a very helpful host, give us a useful bus card with some credits, that we use a lot of times, the bus station is about 50 mts of the apartment and the bus take a few minutes to go to downtown. In the building there´s a restaurant, a little market, and other stores that was very important for us. In the apartament area ( arround 500 mts away ) there are some good restaurants ( El Patacon, Salamandra Pulperia ). I recommend Ashley as a host, and when I return to Bariloche, I will come back to Ashley apartment for sure.
Realmente RECOMENDABLE.
We had an amazing time in Bariloche, not only because of the wonderful lake view apartment but also because Ashley was such a great host. He gave us an all inclusive guide of what we could do on our stay in Bariloche. He listed activities as well as restaurants, which have been some of the best we have been to on our trip thus far. If you get a chance, you should definitely try La Samandra Pulperia, it is walk distance from the apartment and the steak was honestly one of the best we have ever had.
Ashley was very accommodating, and helped us line up a rental car and get a bus pass for the day that we did not have a car. He was very prompt in answering emails and getting back to us about details for our stay.
We would definitely stay in the apartment again if/when we go back to Bariloche.
I decided to spend New Years Eve in the biggest town around the 7 lakes region; Bariloche. I thought it would be fun to be around people in a town to usher in the new year, but in the end we decided staying in to celebrate. The first thing that comes to mind about this place is the breathtaking view. When you walk in the front door there is a panoramic window overlooking the Lake and the Mountains across it. It's gorgeous! The place itself was nothing extraordinary, but very comfortable, clean and accessible to other parts of the lake--not to mention basically behind a couple restaurants and grocery stores to pick up stuff for the place. The place is equipped with a nice kitchen and dining room table which we took advantage of-- pans and dishes included. There is a binder with suggestions of what to do in the area, including directions how to get there. Although we didn't watch much of it there is a tv, with a dvd. In the bookshelf there is a cd case with a strong collection of dvds in case you want an evening to relax. We watched "In Brugges". Note, the place was a little bigger than I needed for me and my girlfriend. There was an extra room with 2 twins for kids. So this place is big enough for a family and a good price to if you ask me--but there is only one bathroom still. Ashley was a good host, easy to get a hold of and check-in, check-out. I enjoyed staying here.
Lake View Apartment is exactly as advertised in the listing - clean, convenient and well stocked. Ashley is a wonderful host who goes out of his way to ensure you are well prepared for your stay. He has a folder with maps, suggestions of things to do and places to eat and spends time with you customizing each of his suggestions to your family's needs. We traveled with an almost 2yr old kid and he helped us make car reservations with a toddler car seat (I checked several car companies and none could provide this) and upon hearing that our toddler wasn't adapting to Argentina food too well, he actually gave us some key (but hard to find) ingredients to make a meal he would like! We were touched by his genuine concern that we have a pleasant stay and not at all surprised that his unit is a reflection of the same!
