Cute, newly renovated, cozy apartment in South Park Slope! You will sleep in a spacious private bedroom on a queen sized futon (fits 2 comfortably), with the option of adding a twin-sized bed for a 3rd guest. The front room is like a studio, so you have the bathroom on one side of the room and the kitchen on the other side. Feel free to help yourself to kitchen supplies. Located a few blocks from the Prospect Ave and 25th St R train subway stops. 10 minute walk to the 4th Ave/9th St F and G train. 20 minutes subway ride to Manhattan. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, coffee shops, stores, Prospect Park, Barclays Center, Whole Foods, etc. Plenty of parking out front, internet connection, all modern kitchen appliances. Happy to show you around the neighborhood/city as time allows.
I am a very laid back girl. I just ask that guests please pick up after themselves and, upon leaving leave the room in the state that it was received. Guests are welcome to use any of the kitchen appliances as needed, and they are welcome to use some of the pantry supplies.
Ashley was a brilliant host. I found the apartment to be clean and comfortable, and the room was spacious with enough storage space for all my belongings. The apartment is close to the subway, Park Slope and Manhattan is just a short train ride away. The area is great for food, shopping and giving you the perfect experience of living in Brooklyn. My time was my own, this is a great when you are a busy artist, but I enjoyed getting to know Ashley and now consider here a friend. I look forward to returning to my home away from home.

Ashley definitely made us feel very welcome. She is an easy host and quite accommodating and helpful. We loved the hardwood floors and the location was perfect for us, very close to the subway and with easy street parking.
Ashley was not very responsive. When I first arrived (and I had told her via email previously that I would get in at 7pm), she did not pick up the phone and it took over 2 hours to finally hear back from here. We were really tired and wanted to go to sleep but Ashley was out at a party and we had to wait another one and a half hours before Ashley finally came to unlock the door.
I was disappointed to learn that I had to sleep on an air mattress (we stayed with 3 people), which not very comfortable. Also, the bathroom was quite dirty and Ashley did not have enough towels for all of us until later the next morning. The kitchen was not very clean as well and no coffee was offered to us in the morning. The location was not bad but I would not stay there again.
Apartment was as advertised. Great location (4 blocks from Prospect Ave subway), close to multiple restaurants (check out Korzo). Ashley was very gracious and made us feel comfortable. Neighborhood is eclectic and interesting.
Room is great for singles and couples. If the additional air mattress is added, the room feels a little cramped. My friend and I were out enjoying the city most of the time so it wasn't an issue, but I think three people would be tight.
Ashley was a really fantastic host who made us feel at home. However, just be sure that you know how to open her door! It can be frustrating if you don't turn the key counterclockwise all the way before pushing the door. We had a really great time in NYC, thanks ashley!
Ashley was responsive and provided all logistical needs despite being out of town. Room was welcoming and as advertised. One tip about the bed - it's the fold-down couch type and tilts a bit from either side toward the center, if you like a flat mattress it works well to pull it out onto the floor.

About the Host, Ashley
I am an NYU grad student who is very friendly and happy to show you around the neighborhood, but am also super busy! Depending on the day, I may be around or you may not see me at all! The neighborhood is fun. There is a lot to do, and its very convenient to get to Manhattan from here. The place is less than 5 minutes from the Prospect Ave and 25th St R subway and 10 min from the F and G trains at 4th Ave/9th St. There are tons of restaurants, shops, bars, etc all around us.
