Cute, newly renovated, cozy apartment in South Park Slope! You will sleep in a spacious private bedroom on a queen sized futon (fits 2 comfortably), with the option of adding a twin-sized bed for a 3rd guest. The front room is like a studio, so you have the bathroom on one side of the room and the kitchen on the other side. Feel free to help yourself to kitchen supplies. Located a few blocks from the Prospect Ave and 25th St R train subway stops. 10 minute walk to the 4th Ave/9th St F and G train. 20 minutes subway ride to Manhattan. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, coffee shops, stores, Prospect Park, Barclays Center, Whole Foods, etc. Plenty of parking out front, internet connection, all modern kitchen appliances. Happy to show you around the neighborhood/city as time allows.
I am a very laid back girl. I just ask that guests please pick up after themselves and, upon leaving leave the room in the state that it was received. Guests are welcome to use any of the kitchen appliances as needed, and they are welcome to use some of the pantry supplies.
Ashley was responsive and provided all logistical needs despite being out of town. Room was welcoming and as advertised. One tip about the bed - it's the fold-down couch type and tilts a bit from either side toward the center, if you like a flat mattress it works well to pull it out onto the floor.
Das kleine Apartment war gemütliche und sauber. Ashley war freundlich und ich hatte alles was ich brauchte. Sehr empfehlenswert.
Ashley's apartment is small and cozy and the room is as advertised (very sparse, but clean) and looks the same as in the pictures. I felt safe in the neighborhood and it's very convenient to the subway. Ashley texted me the day after I got there to make sure everything was okay, also, which was nice, as I actually only saw her one other time for a minute and basically had the place to myself when I was there for the weekend. I don't mean to be overly nitpicky, but I did have a bit of trouble sleeping. I'm accustomed to general noise when staying in apartment buildings/the city, but while I was staying there, I found the loudness of people walking around and the doors (which tend to slam loudly) fairly jarring around 2 and 3 in the morning, as well as some hammering sounds of pipes which are likely due to the oldness of the building. There were some fans in the room which did help block out some noise and a little heater fan was provided, which was nice. If you're just looking for basic accommodations and are not a light sleeper, you shouldn't have any problems with the room - just a heads up if you are a light sleeper like me.
Altough we didnt met ashley except last day, We had very good time from the begining to the end. Everything was ready for us to use. The apt was neat. it is 3 blocks away from subway and 20 min to time square. Safe neighboorhood. Thnx..i certainly recommend ashley's cosy apt.
Ashley is a CHAMP. Her place is clean, the neighborhood is nice, and the subway is close. Not much more you can ask for.
Despite having just started a new job, Ashley was very kind and welcoming in terms of sharing her space. She made sure I had a space heater in the room, which was clean and open and comfy - exactly what I needed since I was coming to town for a wedding and needed to hole up and do work otherwise. She even lent me a sweatshirt when I realized I hadn't packed right for the weather. The location is ideal for getting around to other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan. If you're expecting something like a hotel, you'd be advised to look elsewhere - this is a typical NYC apartment of a young person. Pretty spare but with everything you need. You can't beat the price!
Everything was good! Beds are comfy and there is everything you need. Ashley is a friendly host and replied fast. Unfortunately we did not meet her.
Apartment location is perfect. 2 Blocks from metro and 15min metro ride to Manhattan.

I am an NYU grad student who is very friendly and happy to show you around the neighborhood, but am also super busy! Depending on the day, I may be around or you may not see me at all! The neighborhood is fun. There is a lot to do, and its very convenient to get to Manhattan from here. The place is less than 5 minutes from the Prospect Ave and 25th St R subway and 10 min from the F and G trains at 4th Ave/9th St. There are tons of restaurants, shops, bars, etc all around us.
