About the neighborhood:
The Floresta is one of the best areas of Quito, as it brings together modern urbanity and the appeal of a traditional neighborhood. A five minute walk brings you to gourmet restaurants with Japanese, Italian, Spanish and Chinese food, pizzerias and vegetarian restaurants, along with traditional places serving local foods. There are also bars and cafes , an independent cinema, theatre, bookstores, organic fruit and vegetable markets, handicraft stores, spas and yoga. A supermarket is located just 100 meters away and on Fridays a popular market is set up nest to the building. Due to the five universities located nearby, the Floresta is home to many students and foreigners.

I enjoy some basic things, such as walking in the city, drinking a good coffe and having an intersting conversation. My passion is photography, specially documentary and street photography. This is the reason why I love to spend my time walking. I studied Communication and Literature in the university. Reading good books of Literature, History and Geography is other activity that I really enjoy. When I was in the high school I practiced mountaineering for some years. Now I try to go to the mountains at least one time each two months. When I finished University, I pusblised a mountain magazine for ten years. This job not only let me to mix writing and photography, but also to meet exclusive places in this country and abroad. In 2008, I crossed South America in my bike, for 4 months, from Ecuador to Argentina. Probably, thi is the most inredible experience that I have experimented in my lyfe. Now I am preparing myself to study an MA in London.
