Paris charm: The marble fireplace, old wooden floor and french balconies along with my vintage furniture make this a cosy place, tucked away in a quiet cobblestone courtyard. Two parks, an open market and the bohemian canal ourcq are close.
The appartment falls in the categry of "small and cute" I think. It consists of living room, bedroom, entree, seperate kitchen and bathroom, all in 28 m2.
It is equipped with a washing machine, cooker, 2 cooking plates, microwave, (but no dishwasher), and all you need to cook, bake, make tea or caffee or anything you like. The bathroom has a WC, a washbasin, a shower with continuous flow heater (shower as long as you like) and a very powerful blow-dryer. You'll have wireless internet and telephone with flaterate for free calls within Europe.
If you like oldfashioned things, you will be happy here: Enjoy the old wooden floor, the antique washing basin, and the marbel chimney (no, you can't light a fire in there. Open fireplaces are forbidden in the whole city since 2014, and mine hasn't been maintained in over 10 years. But it still looks good.).
Most of the furniture is vintage and comes from retro-design stores and flee markets.
The french balconies (20 cm wide) and the high windows that come with it make the place very light. It is quiet, thanks to double glazing and since the courtyard seperates it form the street.
Warning: You have to walk up the staires, there is no elevator, and I live on the 6th floor - hence the great view and light. No need to do any additional sport in order to stay fit! :)
Interaction with guests
I will be living at my boyfriend's place while you are here. You can get the key from my neighbour and friend Mathilde and then entirely feel at home. I have a spare set of keys, so you can just drop yours in the mailbox when you are leaving.
No pets please, the place is really too small for them, and please don't smoke.
