Sandra’s place is great. The layout is a little weird, but you can expect that from a house built in the 1800’s. The farm fresh eggs were an extra special treat. The water was fantastic. We never ran out with seven people in the house.

Cozy antique house in a private wooded setting. A real getaway. Well stocked. Good amenities including even food for breakfast.

Nice little house and close to central Chester. Has all of the basics for a Berkshires weekend. A bit cold at night as there are only space heaters but not really an issue. A good value for the price.

Hi, I was afraid you might have been chilly because I saw the other bedspread on your bed. Good thing I am ending the season this month! Thanks again for staying.

Sandra was easy and receptive to communicate with. The house is in a cute location and easy to find. Though there are ample space heaters, I would be very concerned about staying here over the winter time because of the cold.

Response from Sandra:
Hi Emma, Thanks for your nice review. I am not using the house as an airbnb through the winter months and will be installing a propane stove or furnace for heat in the next week or two. I am sure you are right that it would need a better system through the winter.

This was our last night in the area and I was very happy to be in this cozy home in Chester. Everything felt warm and welcoming. If you are coming at night, be sure to download the directions before hand - our T mobile carrier dropped out - so we had to ask locals how to get up …

This is a delightful old farmhouse. Everything we needed was provided plus extras like a wide variety of breakfast items. A great place to stay!
