the white sliding door separates the kitchen from the living room; the folding table turns into the double of its size. The big window-door gives access to the terrace
The apartment measures 67 sq. meters and has a terrace of 70 sq. meters where guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful Roman weather.
All furniture, decorations and kitchen utensils are brand new. Blankets, towels and pillows are available if needed.
The apartment is located in one of the greatest Roman neighborhoods: adjacent to Trastevere and at walking distance from the fabulous Villa Doria Panphili. Bars, bakeries, restaurants, shops and supermarkets are down the block, as well as the streetcar no. 8 , which will take you to the historical square of Largo Argentina and Pantheon in 15 minutes.
Connections to the apartment from Leonardo da Vinci airport and Termini station are phenomenal (express train Leonardo is really convenient; 30 minutes by taxi).
The apartment is perfect both for long term staying and shorter vacations.

Interaction with Guests
I am always at your disposal for any assistance and request of information. Email is the best way to communicate, but if you prefer the telephone, please feel free to call me or Giulio.
Monteverde is one of the few remaining most authentic Roman neighborhoods.
When you exit the ap., make a right, walk for 2 minutes up the street (Via di Monteverde) and you'll get to Via Gianicolense. On your left side you'll see the 8 Street car station. This is the most efficient transport in the city (higly reccomended!). The H Bus stop is on your right side.
If you enjoy walking, take a nice walk all the way down to Via Gianicolense to get to Trastevere, a must see destination you cannot miss!!
We stayed at Valentina's apartment for 10 days and the staying was perfect. The ap. is clean and well equipped and you can find there all the necessary things to feel yourself comfortable just like home - dishwasher, washing machine, towels and so on. As for kitchen, so there you can find all the necessary to cook your Italian dinner. All is clean and perfect. The interior is beautiful. The WiFi is super. The location of the ap. is pretty good: not far from it there is the Trastevere railway station where you can arrive or depart to/from the airport Fiumicino. You can also easily go to the historical center of Rome by tram #8 which stops in 5-7 min by foot. Also the bus #H will take you to the Termini railway station, and the buses #31 and #33 will take you to Vatican (they stop on the other side of the street). We really liked the district: the streets are safe, clean, full of markets, pizzerias (especially Pan Pizza!), coffee shops and so on. You'll really like the Valentina's apartment if you stay in Rome.
My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in early October. This is a very comfortable 1 bedroom apartment. It is several tram #8 stops from the Centro Storico, but the tram runs frequently so no problem getting to see the sites. There are also bus stops nearby. The taxi ride from the apartment to Fumicino Airport was only 35 euro. There are stores and restaurants in the nearby. Giulio, the host's representative, was there at the appointed time (3 PM) to let us in and explain the way things work. The flat is well equipped and the queen size bed is very comfortable. We recommend this place wholeheartedly.
it was a pleasure staying in valentinas appartment - huge terrace, nice kitchen, internet and a really kind welcome - hope to get back soon)
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We started out a bit sceptical, because this was our first airbnb trip.We used alot of time to try to find the perfect place, this apartment did not disappoint!
We really enjoyed our stay at Valentinas apartment, and would definitely come back if we ever visited rome again. Her friend Giulio is very a kind and helpful man.
Valentina's apartment was a very nice place to stay for a first trip to Roma. It's very well accomodated, clean, just like the pictures ! It's a bit out of the centre town but very well served by public transport (20 min to Piazza Venezia). I would definitively recommend this apartment to my family and friends.
The apartment was homely, clean and cosy. A short distance from the Trastevere square which was full of beautiful restaurants and bars, perfect for our stay in Rome. We would definitely stay again!
I am a singer who moved from Rome to Vienna and then to NYC to pursue her music career. I love the world, I love being in touch with different cultures, I love to travel. All my guest always loved to stay at my apartment. I decided to leave it exactly as it was before I moved, so that people can find themselves at home and can enjoy the warmth and colors of the decorations I made!
I believe in honesty, respect and generosity and I keep hoping that we can offer more and more of such human gifts to this world!
