This room, "Room 2" has a very comfortable king-size pullout bed
This cosy room is in a 1930s apartment which faces on to Dublin's vibrant Camden St. .
The main floor has a large kitchen, the main bed room, a spacious hallway and a shower room.
Guests can avail of the kitchen/dining area, washing machine micro-wave and wifi.
Porridge, cereals, fruit, tea/coffee toast etc can be made by your own hand for breakfast. Let me know if you would like something else and I'll see what I can do.
Situated over Frank's Butcher Shop, well known to generations of Dubliners, the apartment is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and bars of all descriptions and many many second hand clothes/furniture stores. Not to mention "The Mingle Market" on weekends.
And of course the equally famous Marie and Bernie's fruit and vegetable stalls.
I recommend Cake Cafe, Green 19 restaurant, Anseo Bar, Damascus Gate restaurant, Listons Deli, Rotana restaurant, George Bernard Shaw bar, & iL Primo restaurant. to name a few.
A Dublin Bike (free bike system) station is 50 metres away.
Harcourt LUAS (tram) Green Line stop is 3 minutes away. A number of bus routes use Camden St. of which the 16 runs to and from Dublin airport. Door to door.
Room 2 is the front room on the main floor and the bed is a very comfortable king-size couch-bed. As per photo.

Interaction with Guests
You can have as much or as little as you like. I'll respect your space !
I'll also chat away and let you know what might be going on culturally about the town: gallery openings, concerts etc.
Ask me for advice etc. No problem and I'll do my best.
Camden St is a vibrant shopping and .socialising. street which is one of the main arteries out of the city heading south. The only remaining street except for the famous Moore St. to have fruit and vegetable stalls. A great mix of the traditional and the modern.

Daragh gave us a warm welcome. The room is warm, well isolated from noise and the bed is large and confortable. Nevertheless, the other rooms are very cold (in winter).
The house has a very good localisation : everything is accessible by foot.
Fine weekend experience on a lively street on South side of the river. Daragh keeps a warm welcome & friendly smile. Room warm & huge king size bed!
Daragh is a great host, he really makes you feel like you´re at home. This room is really confortable and the house is has a really good vibe. This neighborhood is one of my favorites in Dublin, so it was a really pleasant stay!
Thanks for everything, and I hope to you again soon!
The location is fantastic, in a really vibrant part of the city away from the 'tourist trap' that is Temple Bar but still only an easy 10/15 minute walk from the main sights.
Daragh is a friendly host and gave us some good recommendations of places to drink! 5*
Pretty nice place. 10 minutes to Temple Bar by foot, many bars nearby. Very likeable and friendly host, we were feeling comfortable the whole time.
Daragh is been a great host, he gave us tips where to go in the night, suggesting a great concert. Fantastic location on Camden, full of bar, club, pub, restaurant, 10min walk for temple bar. Plenty of taxis in front of the door, so it really easy to discover the town. I will come back? Of course!
The apartment is in a perfect location on Camden, 10 minutes walking from the centre, full of bar, club, pub, restaurant. The house is very nice, cozy and clean and Daragh was very kind, helpful (also before our arrival, giving us a lot of informations and recommendations) and welcoming.
Just one big negative thing: when we arrived the house was very very cold and damp (sheets were almost wet). There is just a small electric stove in the entrance which is not enough to heat up the entrance, the bathroom and the kitchen. We switched on at maximum the one in the bedroom, and the day after the room was ok (not the rest of the house). So, I definitely suggest Daragh’s house, but better in hot season!
