  • The stay at Francesca’s apartment was perfect! During our stay (6 nights) the apartment proved to be ideal for a sightseeing trip to Rome as it is situated in the city center only an 8 minutes walk away from the Manzoni metro station (linea A).
Francesca is very kind and helpful and even helped us out when a suitcase didn’t arrive with our flight. She called the Italy branch office of our carrier and helped us a lot!
The apartment was clean, neat and well equipped for cooking. Francesca provided us with breakfast for the first few days (some toast, jam, eggs, milk, juice etc.).
Francesca’s apartment is highly recommended and I would book it again for sure!

  • Francesca is very nice. She explain everything you need to stay in Rome. We had a good experience for contact her during arriving Rome at night and the whole period of our stay. Apartment is clean, quiet but some point should be improved i.e. hot water, we were 4 together and last person who take a shower always get colder water.

  • This apartment was good, in a location easy for travel in Rome. Only a 20 min walk to Termini, and 8 min walk to Metro. Hosts were good to work with and efficient. Had a problem initially with heat and they were most responsive ! Great shower and breakfast goodies they had there for us.

  • Fantastic apartment, Francesca was very helpful, there were breakfast items and milk provided, which was very kind. Nice neighbourhood, couple minutes from Manzio metro, which goes straight to the centre, stops at Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and Vatican, all on the one line. 10 minutes walk to the Colloseum, with loads of amazing, well priced restaurants.
A great base to explore from

The apartment is really well placed. It's as spacious as promised, really nice and no noise around. All was clean, Francesca was very available for helping. Lovely thing : the fridge and closets contain all what you need for breakfast. Francesca even provided us with a map of Rome. No hesitation to warmly recommend this place.

  • This is an amazing apartment in a perfect location for exploring the main sights by foot. The main bedroom is very spacious and the kitchen has all the equipment we needed to cook some home made meals. It is in a quiet cul-de-sac with lots of light and street parking for our rental car. There were four of us who stayed here, plus a baby and it was great, we would definitely recommend to others who want something value for money in a great location.

  • "Amor di Casa" is in a good location, convenient to the metro for sightseeing, and remains of the ancient Roman aquaduct are just down the street. The apartment is spacious, especially the bedroom, and the bathroom is relatively large. There is a second bedroom that would sleep two others. The kitchen is large and furnished adequately for cooking if you want to do that. Compared with a hotel, you are probably getting good value to not be cramped into a tiny room. We ended up staying only two nights, so in our case. we didn't really get the added value of the extra space.

We were met at the apartment by a friend of Francesca's and he went over the details about using the elevator, locking the doors, etc. So that was nice.

I'm not giving this apartment a higher rating, however, because although superficially clean, I perceived a light layer of dust/grime on the the cabinetry and furniture. The drawers and cupboards didn't seem that clean and some of them were full of a jumble of old stuff. For its size, there really isn't any comfortable place to just hang out. There are two chairs at an oversize dining room table in the kitchen, which I guess could be pulled out if more than two people are staying in the apartment.

So nothing really horrible. The bed was comfortable, the plumbing and shower worked well (and quietly), and the owner provided a lot of towels. The street noise from outside was moderate, neither especially quiet or loud.
