Aliana (not sure I got it correct) is Francessca's sister was extremely nice to wait for us hours because of flight and baggage claim delay. Francessca's distant support via call and text warmly welcome us one day before arrival. The apartment is nice with lovely master bedroom, kitchen and dinning area. But the location is truly correct 5-8 minutes walking to Termini. We felt like home with Francessca's advance arrangement of food, pastry, tea, coffee on kitchen counter and fridge.
- dry your clothes right out of kitchen windows
- interesting antique key requires few practices
The only difficulty I encountered while staying at the place is hot water ran out after 1 shower.
Location is very good. Francesca sister waited for us very long since we we late and she was polite and nice. But accomodation was very suprising when we discovered that there are no real beds in small room. I had to take madrace and sleep on the floor.... not so good experience.
Our stay at Francesca's was very nice. Fully functional kitchen and spacious, clean 2 bedrooms. There was an elevator that we could use to haul of luggage up to the apartment which was great. Location was nice, safe neighborhood, 5-10 minute walk to the subway and bus station. Around 20 minutes to get to all the main attractions in Rome. I did not meet Francesca but her sister Elaina was very nice and helpful. The fridge even had some basic groceries in it to start us off which was super nice since we arrived late on a Sunday night. The only issue we had was the small hot water tank. Long enough to take one shower but with three girls we had to plan accordingly. Other then that we had a wonderful stay!!
Room is adequate for my family. And Transport system is very convenient. You can take a bus, tram and metro easily
But Gas range's handle was broken. So there is danger of burns.
Francesca and Eliana were great hosts! They were flexible with our late check in time and very patient when we were running a little late. They stocked the kitchen with water, milk, eggs, tea, etc. for our two nights in Rome too! The location is great, a quiet part of town and only a 15 min walk or so to the Colosseum and about a 5 min walk to the closest metro station. The apartment was very clean, well kept, and very cute!
What I liked most about this apartment was the location and price. Many of the hotels we found within this same price range that had accommodations for 3 guests were outside the city centre ring, more than 50 minutes of public transport away from the city's main sites.
The host had excellent communication and was upfront about Rome's city tax. There wasn't anything unexpected. The host arranged for her sister to check us into the apartment at one in the morning when we arrived from our late-night flight, which was very nice.
I loved that the host left a few snacks in the apartment as well as an umbrella. Both were welcoming and came in handy!
