Angela is a very enthusiastic, kind lady who made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble for her. The neighborhood was very quiet which was wonderful. The house, although an older style was spotlessly clean inside. We were impressed with the little touches such as a big bowl of fruit for us to eat and quality products for us to use such as shampoo and soaps. Everything we needed was there including wifi, a hair dryer, towels, heaters in bedrooms, starched sheets, range of pillows. The location was within 5-10 min drive in either direction to supermarkets and malls as well as a strip of restaurants. We will definitely stay with Angela again if we need to stay in that area.
Angela is a great host. She is very responsive during the booking process. Her place is beautiful and quiet and surrounded by a large garden. The kitchen area is airy, sun-filled, and look out to the flowers and plants in the garden patio, a great setting to start the day making breakfast in the morning. The house has many rooms to accommodate a large group. I was there for some work at the nearby Monash University and it felt great to be able to relax in such a beautiful environment before and after work. She let me know where places in the area are and she even invited me to go along to get some groceries for my stay. In and around Clayton, it would be most convenient if you drive. But if you were like me, Monash University is just a short & pleasant 10-20 minute walk away. I will definitely recommend Angela's place to everyone visiting the area.
It would not be easy to find another host as gracious, wonderful & heart-warming like Angela. My family and I stayed at her house for 11 days and it has been a wonderful experience. Angela had prepared a fresh bowl of fruits to welcome us and my mom was absolutely thrilled by it. The house is very clean and tidy, the rooms are big with comfortable beds & ample wardrobe space. The neighborhood is quiet & safe for evening walks. My parents spent quite some time exploring her entire garden. We are truly grateful for the wonderful experience.
Angela is a very friendly, kind, helpful and considerate host. She provided me with a big bowl of fresh fruits when I first arrived and my room was clean and very comfortable. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and the garden is beautiful. She even let my family pick fresh produce from her garden.
Angela is a most gracious host. She went out of the way to make us feel really welcome, including ensuring that the place was really cleaned up even though she had a departure the same morning we were arriving, and showed us all the places for amenities and the mall. It has been one great experience at Angela's.
Angela is the nicest host I've ever seen. If there is any issue, you can count on her to help you. Moreover, the house is very clean with a beautiful garden and there is all we need for a stay. The room is large with a comfortable bed. I had an internship in the CSIRO and it was very close by feet from the house, the area is very quiet and close to a park where you can just sit down and read a book. I enjoyed my stay.
Angela is a very welcoming, kind, and respectful host.
The house is absolutely spotless, peaceful, and very comfortable. Angela's garden is also a delight for the senses.
Love nature, simple style, believe in kindness, fairness and hope will be treated the same in return.
I love almost everything in life, good food although, not a good cook, because do not have time to perfect it. I think, Vietnamese cuisine is most healthy, for it is more greens then meat, reading, documentaries, movies, musics of any kind, but no heavy metal please. So far, "The Piano" (Micheal Nyman), "Simply the Best" (Tina Turner) etc. are impressive to me. Above all, they are leisure tools for me to learn to understand others' shoe.
Go to the beach on a sunny day, hiking on the low land may be, because with the test of time, most physicals reduce their strength. Garden is one of my favorite hobby too and it is not unusual that I mess about from dawn to dusk at the garden, also love travel and have been in quite a few parts of the world.
After all, I am a mixture of modern and traditional women, a moderate and considerate.
