The apartment has a view over the old part of Cannes known as “Le Suquet”. It is a 2-3 minute walk.
Le Suquet is the old quarter of Cannes, probably best known to tourists as the climbing, winding cobbled lane lined with local restaurants.
Le Suquet contains a clock tower and church that sit high-facing east overlooking the Bay of Cannes and Cannes itself. At the bottom of Le Suquet is the Marche Forville, where the market is held in the mornings and early afternoon. Well this area is the original fishermans residential area of Cannes.
The houses are all very old and the streets were laid out at least 400 years ago.
It is a 5 minute walk from the beach and is full of restaurants.
A lot of the area is pedestrianized and is a major tourist attraction for visitors to Cannes.
The Rue du Suquet is the original main road into Cannes. It came in below the walls of the castle (very good for defense). Ironically it is a pedestrian street again but full of good quality gourmet restaurants.

This apartment was the perfect deal - centrally located right near the Suquet, and very comfortable at a great price. Had everything I needed for a week's stay, from a hair dryer to a washing machine, and Michael was kind enough to me at the airport to give me the keys.
The apartment is clean and beautiful. Everything that you need is included. Around the apartment you can find lots of restaurants. And the location is also great. Michael is very nice. By next time I'd like to rent it again.
Had a great time in Cannes and Michael was very helpful with everything. Apartment is very neat and functional and close distance from Palais, where most of my happenings were. Hope to stay in the same place in the future as well!
appartement très bien situé, propre et tres confortable. Mickael est un hote très sympathique. je recommande vivement ce logement !
Michael was beyond helpful in accomodating collecting and dropping me to the airport. The apartment was as per "what it said on the tin". The boxes I needed ticking were a good shower, clean and a short distance to the Croisette and this studio was all of the above
Great apartment, close to the city center. I have really enjoyed staying there. It's really convenient to have iron, oven and washing machine in your vacation place. Check-in and check-out was in time. 5 out of 5.
I really enjoyed staying in this great little studio that's close to the Croisette and le Suquet. The walk home takes a little longer than the walk to the water because it's on a small, very manageable, hill (good exercise). It's right at the top of the le Suquet street that contains a bunch of great little restaurants, so it's very well-located. Michael is totally on top of things and so nice about it! I'd say the only major drawback is the noise from the highway (highway might be too large to describe it, but it's a busy thoroughfare). But put some ear plugs in and you'll be fine. It's worth it!
