Interaction with Guests
Lorraine and I enjoy interacting with people and want our guests to have a great experience. We can provide tips on the local scene and the numerous places to eat in and around Paddington. Your room comes with an assortment of guide books including information for buses and transport to and from Paddington. We both work and are in and out of the house regularly. I prefer guests to communicate with me through airbnb or via text messages as I don't get to my emails often.
Check in time is 2pm and check out time is 10am. We like to stick to these times in order to accommodate other guests and cleaners. However, we are happy to organise early bag drop offs on arrival or bag storage when departing.
There is a key-less entry to our home and we will supply you with the code prior to your arrival.
We look forward to your stay in this unique home!

We are very well located!!
Many of our guests walk into the city via Oxford Street.
Super easy access to the beautiful home he has created. Great to talk with the entire family. It was one of the best experiences I've had with airbnb. I was even lucky enough to have a "long black" or as I would call it an Americano
Nice location and very close to the bus station, ten mins to CBD. We was really enjoying our stay. The house is so cool ! Especially it's fantastic interior design. The room was super comfortable! We love everything here! Definitely will book again!!!
Arnie & his daughter were both very friendly and welcoming. The listing was as it's described on Airbnb. The house is in a great location in Paddington.
What an interesting place to stay, and very comfortable after 23 days tenting in the Northern territory.
I liked Arnie and I enjoyed having a good stroll all about Paddington - great location.
Very enjoyable and warm reception. The unit has automatic booking, so Arnie was unaware of us coming, thus we only gained access around 3:30. Thus, suggest you call ahead to ensure all are aware.
Lovely interesting house, I will attempt to return on my next visit.
Arnie and his family are wonderful hosts. Making my guest feel welcome and comfortable with the level of support received prior and during stay. Thanks
Our stay with Arnie was a pleasure. He was responsive to our messages before and during our stay. He was home when we arrived and provided great recommendations on places to visit.
The house is very well-located. Paddington is an absolutely delightful neighborhood. We enjoyed exploring the wide-range of cafes, restaurants, and stores (we definitely recommend dinner at Eat Thai). Likewise, we enjoyed having the option of a leisurely stroll down Oxford to the CBD or choosing one of at least three bus lines to whisk us quickly to our destination.
With regards to the house itself, this is certainly a property for anyone with an appreciation for art. Arnie has a well-curated collection, including many of his own works. During our stay, there was a guest in the second bedroom, but we didn't have any issues with the shared bathroom.

About the Host, Arnie
We are Arnie and Lorraine, and we very much enjoy hosting guests and making our guest's stay a unique experience.
We are both laid back - love our dinners, music, wine, swims in our pool when we are at home - and we regularly head off for weekends away too.
I enjoy my work as an artist, specialising in collage, sculptures and paintings - currently working towards an upcoming Sydney show in June 2015. Some of my work is displayed throughout our home.
Lorraine works locally as a psychotherapist, and as a lecturer in the field of counselling and psychotherapy.
We look forward to meeting you.
