A pretty three bedroom house set in the valley of Minard on the spectacularly beautiful Dingle Peninsula. A quiet country retreat where you can write, study or practise, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Surrounded by mountains and overlooking the sea, the house is on half an acre of ground and is a short walk from Minard beach and castle. This area is perfect for quiet country walks, and restful scenery.
Only eight miles away is the bustling fishing port of Dingle which is home to internationally renowned restaurants and bars. There will be a multitude of opportunities to hear musicians play and sing in many of the pubs and at concerts in the church. There is a varied array of interesting shops including the wonderful cheese shop, a number of local jewellers, craft wares from pottery to weaving, and a variety of interesting music and book shops. A farmers’ market runs on Friday mornings. There are regular boat trips leaving from the harbour for fishing, seeing the sights or to see the famous Dingle Dolphin, Fungi! For sightseers, there are beautiful drives around Slea Head and numerous beaches to explore. It is also possible to take a ferry to see the Great Blasket Island. A trip over the Connor Pass is a must on a clear day. Space precludes listing everything, but the Dingle Peninsula has many treasures to be found and enjoyed!
