Ryan was great to work with - as were the island contacts. The house is extremely private, very nicely appointed, and very, VERY private. The ride into the house is through a thick tropical jungle - then the road leads out into this beautiful, open expansive stretch of gorgeous landscaped property. You won't believe the birdsong in the morning.
Ryan (email hidden), he responded quickly to my enquiries and was generous and efficient. The house was exactly as he describes and I loved waking up listening to the birds in the peaceful valley. The neighbourhood was secluded and the people I saw were friendly. I had a wonderful week.
Fantastic location! House and grounds we're just beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thanks!
Great, great, great! Stunning house in the middle of paradise! Located in the middle of the islands countryside/jungle its a perfect base to discover the island and its jaw dropping landscapes and shores, but be sure to rent a car to do it. The house is simply perfect, fully equipped with all you can need and more. The rooms are huge, the beds are super comfortable and there is no noise son you can rest like a baby.
Ryan couldnt receive us since he was in Texas at the time but he was on top of everything and very reachable. Moreover he left us some delicious fresh fruit and hawaiian chocolates in our arrival, a very kind detail.
Super recommended experience!
We enjoyed the every single moment of our stay in the gorgeous house as everywhere we looked at or whatever we were doing we MUST take a photo...!! just as we see on the web.
What is more, the house is full of art works with details which please us a lot, and the beds are soooo comfortable. The host even prepared many delicious welcome snacks of Hawaiian including my favorite Anahola Granola!
Our group of 9 friends in our late 20s/early 30s had a fantastic stay at this estate! House was clean, beds were comfortable, and having three full bathrooms was a huge plus. The house has fantastic wrap around views and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool and soaking in the bird songs every day (yes, I'll consider rooster crowing a bird song in this context). Having a large round dining table that was able to seat nine was also a huge plus, we cooked many dinners and breakfasts in the well appointed kitchen. Only negative I can think of was that the propane tank was empty when we arrived and we had to roast our red snapper in the oven instead of grilling it. Ryan was very quick to respond to all questions and very accommodating when we requested a late check out. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed the beautiful setting and the peace and quiet of being remote from the noise and clutter in the towns. The house accommodates eight easily, and Ryan came promptly when we reported some minor issues resulting from an empty propane tank. We ended up spending a lot of time in the cars touring everywhere on the island. We had family ranging in ages from their 70's to a 2-month-old, and everyone was comfortable in the house and had a good time exploring the island, hiking, kayaking/paddle boarding and even the five-year-old learned to surf.
Nice place. 5 minute drive into town (Kapaa).. The house was serene, clean, accessible to airport easily and to town easily. Beds were great. Ryan responded quickly. All in all good experience.
We loved staying in the house. It is located in a quiet and slightly remote neighborhood, a bit far from the beach and stores but they can be reached within 10-15min by car. It is located in an area were it seemingly rains a bit more than more south on the island, but nevertheless very beautiful.
We had a wonderful (email hidden) estate! It was nice and roomy for a big group, the beds were really comfortable, and the living space was larger than it looked in the photos (which didn't look bad to begin with). Kids had so much fun running in the enormous lawn. The only thing we'd note is that the pool isn't heated (I don't think many are in Kauai) so if the weather has been cooler, as it was for us, the pool is a bit on the chilly side. That didn't stop the adults from jumping in but it was a bit cool for little ones. Of course, that just depends on the time of year.
The hosts were very accommodating and brought us a high chair and pack and play for the kids too. Thank you!
