Overall it is a cool nice clean space in the heart of the East Village/ Lower East Side, at a great price for the size and condition.
The East Village/ Lower East Side of Manhattan is a funky vibrant bohemian neighborhood, with tons of Bars, there is one on the ground floor, Restaurants, Cafes, small cool Ma & Pa Shops, it is a vibrant night life destination and people come from all over. It gets pretty busy towards the weekend. My apt is located on Avenue A, which gets LOUD at night. If you are noise sensitive.... think... :-)

I spent 32 nights in Daniels apt. Everything was clean, organized and full kitchen supplies.
Daniel is a great host, friendly and always in touch when necessary.
The only issue is because of the neighborhood is full of bars and restaurant ( good point) , the building entrance is almost a house for drunk/ homeless. Almost every night someone were sleeping in front of the doors. Another important note, there's a Karaoke under the building.
Overall we had a great time in NYC and in Daniels place.
Very nice and spacious apartment ( at the photos it seems to be smaller than in reality), it is well situated, clean and well-provided with everything a family of 5 would ever need. Daniel was very helpful and caring. We quickly felt at home and spend a wonderful week in Manhattan.
Great place in a great district! hope we come back soon! Thank you very much for warm welcome and help! Highy recommend it !!!
There is one single feedback: We found a second place in NYC and hope to come back soon! Thank you very much Daniel for your warm welcome. And for the rest: great apartment in a great neighborhood. I recommend it to everyone who would like to spend a couple of days in New York.
Daniel is an exemplary host - friendly, flexible, available and providing everything you need. The apartment is clean, spacious, nice and homely and sunny in the morning. The building is in a state that we north Europeans are not used to, but once you are in the apartment everything is neat and tidy. The area is vibrant, friendly and interesting to explore with food places of all kinds and all qualities as numerous as rational numbers - you can't get from one to another without passing a third. We enjoyed 10 days there and highly recommend it as a base camp for exploring Manhattan and Brooklyn, and we learned to make use of all three of the closest subway stations. It was very useful as they are on different lines.
