Two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a twin loft bed for kids. The sofa also pulls out to sleep two more people comfortably. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might possibly need.
The house is located on 5th Street SW, also known as 5th St Extended. This is a busy road and there is a significant amount of traffic noise, especially during the morning rush hour. If this is an issue for you, please consider this before booking.
The back yard is also available for your use, with outdoor table and chairs, as well as a trampoline--in excellent shape and with safety net--for your children's enjoyment. Use at your own risk.
Guests have access to the entire house, which is completely equipped for your stay.

This historic cottage is located in a row of similar cottage, dubbed "Cook Row." Probably originally used as living space for indentured servants working in the large manor houses just over the hill on Ridge St, the cottages were built in the early 1900s. In an up-and-coming neighborhood just south of downtown yet close to UVA and the hospital as well, a stroll from the cottage to downtown will take you past many of Charlottesville's historic houses and right into the heart of this beautiful city's vibrant and very walkable downtown area.
Two city bus lines pass the cottage, with a stop just a block and a half away. .7 miles away on Main Street, one can catch the Free Trolley, which will take you between downtown and UVA easily. The Amtrak station is also about a 10-15 minute walk. It is feasible to stay here without a car, although to explore destinations out of town, transportation is recommended.
