  • one of the best budget hotels i've stayed in...the location is near the hoan kiem lake (the street is actually full of other budget hotels/backpackers hostels), and this makes it an ideal pit stop for nearby tourist sites. our room was spacious (could actually fit 3 people comfortably) and clean, and the receptionists were very helpful with our concerns. the only reason i'm not giving this a full 5 stars is because our room was located on the 4th floor, and there is no elevator. we didn't mind climbing the relatively steep stairs, but it could be quite tiresome for people not used to much physical activity.

  • wonderful hotel for the price.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. Location is amazing and near the cathedral in Hanoi and about a 10min walking distance to the famous lake in Hanoi.

The staff are probably the highlight for me as they treated me very well, shared a few jokes and got along perfect with them.

They arranged my trips to sapa, HaLong bay and a domestic flight to Da Nang with ease.

My only negatives about this place is that it is in a very busy street/area so expect to be woken up early in the morning if you are a light sleeper. To be fair, Anywhere you stay in central Hanoi is like this as it is a very busy city.

  • It is a small hotel in the old town. So it is (email hidden), but the rooms are clean and it`s money worth.
Only in one night they started repairing the toilet in the basement at 11 p.m. and used a diesel engine. The petrol smell went to all rooms and it was terrible!

  • Great stay! Centrally located, easy walking distance to all the main attractions of Hanoi. Very clean, comfortable, and spacious. I would like to mention that the room was actually much bigger than it appeared to be in the pictures, which is a big plus! Guests should know that there is no elevator and so it might be inconvenient to haul luggage up to rooms on floors 3 or higher, but with a backpack, it's absolutely no problem. Staff were extremely friendly and courteous, and always willing and ready to help. It was a lovely stay in Hanoi, I will definitely return on my next visit!

  • Hanoi Hibiscus Hotel met our expectations in every way. Our room was just as depicted on the site. It appeared to have been recently refurbished, fresh and pristine, with quality fittings and everything we needed. Having wifi in the room was an extra bonus. The staff were friendly and very eager to please-special thanks to Alex,Ha and Loan.

  • A great room that was very clean and presentable. The hotel was in a charactered part of town with easy access to all the main attractions of Hanoi and local restaurants down the street. Would definitely stay there again.

  • We enjoyed our stay at the Hibiscus hotel very much. The pick up from the airport worked well, the staff was friendly and very competent. The room was as shown on the pictures. Also the location is good, close to the old town and the lake. We enjoyed our stay very much.

  • The location is amazing, and off of a main street so fairly quiet. The hotel is very clean and the staff is incredibly helpful. The beds are soft and the water is hot. Overall, a great stay!

  • Pretty decent, conveniently located in the old quarters and has many local tour agents around. Note that the lane is too narrow for taxis to enter, so don't be surprised if your taxi drops your off along the main road.
