We had a good time in Marseillan, with its lovely restaurants and excellent market. On the plus side, the house is well located, well equipped and (for Marseillan) it felt spacious. The roof terrace was a nice space to sit and relax. On the other hand, the decor and linens were old and dated. The plumbing was smelly and temperamental. The terrace is overlooked by the house behind.

Very cute place to stay, we appreciated the dishwasher and the great terrasse. The house is very quiet with 3 comfortable bedrooms. The location in the city is perfect close by to bakery, restaurants and shops. We recommend the walk to the port and a drink there. We warmly recommend this place

The house suited us perfectly for our 2 night stay and we would certainly be staying again if we are visiting the area in the future.

Ric and Sue were very friendly and helpful hosts. They replied within hours to every question we had. The house is situated in a very charming little town with nice restaurants. It feels like a really authentic place even though you have to expect a little bit of noise due to the other houses and the church that are very close. The roof terrace is a very good place to relax and the bedrooms offer comfortable and spacious beds. A great beach is only a 10 min drive away. Overall, we had a very good time in Marseillan!

Stunning! This homely yet spacious house on a medieval street has everything you could need for a worry-free stay in gorgeous Marseillan. You're just a gentle cycle-ride (or quick bus ride) away from Marseillan Plage, a classic postcard Mediterranean beach, yet the town itself is calm and surprisingly un-touristy. Ric and Sue have put a lot of thought and care into making sure guests can have a relaxed, flexible time, from use of their well-equipped kitchen to helpful information about the local area. My friend and I divided our time between sipping rosé and Noilly Prat on the waterfront, swimming and sunbathing on the many lovely beaches, cycling on the well-maintained cycle paths locally, cooking our own meals and eating out at the many excellent cafés and restaurants less than five minutes' walk away, and sipping local wine on the private terrace. The ideal combination of peace, variety and convenience, and the house would make a perfect family retreat, too.
