The house is located on a plateau overlooking the village of Chastreix, above the place called Mont. The access road to the house (tarmac) is a small marked hiking trail that will take you directly to the heart of the nature reserve, an ancient glacial valley at the foot of Sancy.

WARNING ! In case of heavy snowfall, the house being located on a secluded road and on top of a small hill, the last 250 meters (private road) may not be accessible by car, even equipped with snow tires or chains. It may even be possible that you have to park at the place called Le Mont, located 800 meters below. In any case, in case of snow, your vehicle must be equipped to access the house.
