This is a very nice apartment. The two bedrooms are large and comfortable, the living room is a great place to relax or get some work done, and the kitchen is well-equipped. There is also a sun porch, with space for drying clothes and a small table for dining. The bathroom is fine, with a water-pressure booster that ensures that even on the fifth floor (I think), there is great water pressure. (The water-pressure booster is a bit loud when functioning, but there is no need to keep it plugged in when you are not using the shower.)
Hermina responded quickly to inquiries and was very pleasant and easy to deal with, as were her sister and niece, who got me settled in.
Some reviewers have noted that the apartment is not easy to find, which is true. The entrance (like most places in Yerevan) is from the back of the building. When you enter the courtyard from Khanjian St., there is a small playground in front of you. Turn left, so that the playground is on your right and the building is on your left, and find the last entrance to the building, at the far end of the courtyard. The entrance is a grey, unmarked door leading to a dark, concrete staircase. You have to go up one and a half floors to get to the elevator. Press the top button on the elevator, and then go up half a floor. The apartment is on your right, and the apartment number is clearly marked.
The reservation was canceled 5 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My girlfriend and I stayed 3 nights here in August of 2012.
Pros: great location; very large apartment; nice kitchen with all the amenities to cook a nice meal; very kind and helpful host; comfortable bed; good value
Cons: very difficult to find the actual entrance to the apartment (the entrance is in a back alley and you need to walk up a dark staircase to the second floor to find the elevator); the elevator feels like it could give way any second. I would not recommend using the elevator.
Very nice appartment, big and cosy. Two big bedrooms, and a sofa in the lounge plus a kitchen, a spare bed, and a terrasse. Conveniently located, and the saturday / sunday market (called"vernissage") very nearby is a splendour !
Hermina wasnt there but she made sure that everything was organised before i arrived. Her nieces who i stayed with were wonderful hosts. Not only I had a great place to stay, they also took the time to make sure that I felt at home in Yerevan. The apartment is right in the middle of town (close to republic square), extremely convenient. it is also well equipped to ensure a comfortable stay. I would totally recommend this place.
Huge space, great location, comfortable amenities, everything worked great except for the internet.
This is a huge beautiful apartment, very centrally located in Yerevan. It is also very quiet. It was perfect in every way, and the hostess, Hermina, was very good about answering all my questions. I highly recommend this apartment.

About the Host, Hermina
Originally from Armenia, I live in Boston for many years. My house is one of many beautiful Victorian houses in oldest neighborhoods in Boston (Dorchester). The house is beautiful, big, clean and colors are my addition to its charm. I love colors you can see it in the pictures.
I love the idea of B&B and now I have chance to host people from the world in my own house. Traveling is part of my life and staying with family opens chance to meet local people.
I share what I know about Boston with pleasure and sometimes I learn from travelers what they discovered in Boston.
