Beautiful 4 bedroom and 3 bathroom Log Home with ample parking for several vehicles. We have beautiful ocean views, flower gardens, tall cedar trees and privacy to relax on lawn chairs. A full service gas station and convenience store is within minutes or drop by Joe Walker park for a beach fire. Visit Denman and Hornby islands via ferry. Access the highway for a day trip to Mt Washington to hike, ski or cycle!

The space
Welcome to our well maintained and solid construction 3 level log home! We can accommodate 10 people comfortably and are pet friendly too. We offer our guests the unexpected extras such as bath salts if you choose to use the main floor full size soaker bath or relax in the upper level cast iron tub. We have a fireplace and wood available. Our kitchen is well stocked with a blender, juicer, microwave, measuring cups and more!
We have an enhanced cleaning routine for your comfort and safety. We have a hep-a air purifier and reverse osmosis water filtration systems.

Where you’ll be

Fanny Bay, British Columbia, Canada

Mount Washington is a 45 minute drive for skiing or beautiful trail walks (dogs welcome.)
Union Bay. Check out nearby Joe Walker park for a beach fire park a km south of our log chalet house. The Highwayman Saloon, Post Office, and a Corner Store with Historic Landmarks and Buildings (Union Bay historic jail and museum seasonal admission) are a 5 min drive north.
Walk into town along the old railway line (30-40 minute leisurely pace.)
Boat Ramp access in Union Bay for small crafts and kayaks and canoes.
Buckley Bay Petro Canada Gas station, coffee bar, seafood store and Subway fast food, small bakery and grocery selections as well as wine and beer purchases within the store. Also a quick access to highway 19 from the gas station.
From the guest house drive north for 10 minutes to world famous KingFisher Spa.
Continue on into Royston and a left turn at the lights takes you into Cumberland. Japanese and Chinese historic buildings and nearby cemetery. Well known for a variety of mountain bike and hiking trails.
Campbell River-30 minutes via highway 19 for whale watching tours.
Courtenay is a beautiful drive only 15 minutes to all your shopping needs and restaurants. A short drive from Courtenay to
Comox with an airport, marina, and the breath taking Filberg gardens.
We have 3 of the top 10 beaches in BC near us. Tribune Bay is a short ways from us and is one of the Top Beaches in Canada.
