We harbor entrepreneurs from around the world. Focused on technology startups, our island getaway is a gateway way to experience the Silicon Valley. We are leaders, dream builders and super connectors. You will leave enriched, inspired and motivated.
We understand that there are plenty of "shared living situations" available in the area. So why stay with us?
1. We The People
Our community attracts top business talent from around the world. Whether you are looking to get your MBA, attend a developer school, start a company, get funding, find market validation, expand your network or hack out a project. We have the right environment to support your endeavors. We schedule events and have a private page to keep everyone up to date on meals, and events.
2. The Space
The most common complaint of shared living situations is that there is not enough space to work. Here there are more desks than people who could possibly stay here. This ensures that if you have a project to finish, you will have a quiet place to work. We have a spacious backyard with patio furniture, the weather here in San Jose is almost always nice.
3. The Food
We cook, and we cook often. We chose to eat nutritious tasty food. None of this "we provide food, here is your top ramen." We pride ourselves in having Vitamix blender. We make smoothies full of fresh fruits and vegetables.
We have two options available for meals: opt in or opt out.
Opt in gets you in the "shared food" space where you have access to all the food purchased with community funds. This option costs about $5 a day. The price fluctuates because all the money is spent directly on the groceries purchased. This is great for the individual who will be eating most of their meals at home. This is more convenient and cost effective than eating out or buying food individually.
Opt out and you will have access to a private shelf space in the fridge and pantry to keep your own groceries. This is perfect for the individual who eats few meals at home or special dietary restrictions.
Coffee is always free.
We strive to make your stay as positive as possible. We have invested in top quality mattress, pillows and sheets to ensure that you sleep well. We provide ear plugs incase you are a light sleeper. Our house stays clean because everyone contributes to keeping it that way. Its simple, if you make a mess, clean it up. Towels and sheets are cleaned weekly and available fresh upon check-in.
Full kitchen privileges, access to a washer and dryer, free wifi, and large backyard.
Interaction with Guests
We live here and work from home. We are here all the time. And while we are working most of the day, we are happy to assist in any needs you may have. We commonly plan and cook meals together, clean together and go out exploring new places. We have done several meet-ups as a house. We also play poker, beer pong, host our own hackathons and have networking BBQ's in the summer.

This is a fun place to stay. Everyone was nice and helpful. I would stay there again. They helped work around my schedule and made everything easy. Drew was a great host!
Drew is very open, generous and a great host. He will do anything to make you feel at home. I can definitely recommend the 5$ a day deal for food, the fridge/freezer and a shelf with lots of fruit is always kept well stocked. The house is always clean and the beds are very good - the sheets are even changed regularily.
The atmosphere in the house is one of the best parts. Very often the guests do stuff together - I went on a hike and a museum trip for example, and we often played games like Dominion in the evenings. If you want to meet new and interesting people and make some friends this is an excellent place for it. You not only get to know the American culture
but people from all over the world.
In the end it was an amazing experience that I think was probably the best possible way to spend my time in America. I met a lot of great people and had a really good time. Wish I was staying longer!

I am a seeker of knowledge and friendship. I practice my passion through hosting entrepreneurs, engineers, students, and people who love the tech industry as much as I do. My hope is that I make an impact on each person I host and become a positive influence in each relationship I build. Our community enjoys cooking, playing board games, hiking, running, yoga, playing sports together, debating and discussing business strategies, and comparing international cultures. The food here is excellent. We provide a huge selection and variety of food, and we love to cook and share home cooked meals together.
