Susan was wonderful. She picked us up after a long day on our bikes and brought us to her beautiful home. The setting was peaceful and beds were cozy. We loved sitting on the deck, watching the sun set and the deer leap through the fields. We also loved chatting with Susan, and she was a great sport to drive us back to our bikes at 5:30 in the morning. This stay was truly one of the highlights of our trip.

Susan provided a great place to rest out heads while we toured Yellowstone (East Entrance about 2.5 hour drive). She prepared a to-go meal for us as well as accommodated our very late arrival.

Susan is a lovely lady and a great host! We arrived late and Susan stayed up to welcome us. (We are sorry...) She is very considerate and provide everything we need! We really enjoyed Susan's homemade breakfast, it's delicious! We like chatting with Susan! Her experience is amazing and she is very funny and easygoing. Her house is very pretty! Last but not least, we love the cute puppy!

We stayed here for 12 days in October with 4 adults and two horses. Susan could not have been a better host and seemed to anticipate our needs before we did. This is not a touristy place with a trendy western motif... Susan and the ranch are simply authentic. It is Wyoming at its best. We left feeling like family and look forward to our next visit there. Thank you Susan... till next time. Chuck

The listing was exactly as Susan has it shown. Susan was very gracious and Busy. She let us use her home in and around her and shared local history.

We stayed one night at Sunny J’s on our way from Denver to Yellowstone and found Susan to be a friendly and helpful host. We had a medical emergency which delayed our departure from Denver, which in turn meant that we didn’t get to Sunny J’s until around 9:30p.m. but Susan stayed up (obviously past her normal bedtime) to welcome us. Susan was easy to deal with throughout the booking process. The description is accurate, although house is interesting and idiosyncratic - being Susan’s home - but very comfortable and very clean. There is fast wifi, and Susan is an attentive host - interesting to chat to. Breakfast was substantial, and set us up for the morning. Although the place is somewhat isolated, Susan’s directions were accurate and easy to follow, even in the dark. Follow them rather than using a satnav (GPS). Arriving late, we wanted an evening meal before getting to Sunny J’s, so we decided to eat in Meeteetse. This was not a good decision as the local restaurants are nothing to writer home about. Probably better to eat before getting here. Would I go back? Yes I would, I can recommend Susan and Sunny J’s

I am a widow and semi retired nurse, still work 4 days a month. Have lived in Wyoming going on 20 years, is the best decision I've ever made. Was going to retire, but have decided to continue with the Bed, Barn and Breakfast for a little while longer. The barn means I have corrals for horses, not that you sleep in a barn. This is my home and I am on site at all times, have living quarters in the basement where I stay May through October. There are three bedrooms on the main floor, two queen beds and one room with two single beds. There is one bathroom to be shared by all the guests. Most times I only accept one party at a time due to the one bathroom. You have use of the main house, I do allow kitchen privileges for quick fix meals, there is also a barbecue that you can use. My house rules for the kitchen is leave it as you found it. Your also welcome to use the porch at any time, another words make yourselves at home. Have a few animals on site, horses, dogs, cats, with a new batch of chickens coming in the Spring. The breakfasts I serve are pretty generic, but hardy. If you have any special needs please bring it with you. Your welcome to use the fridge for any food storage. Any other questions, please let me know. Look forward to meeting you. Thanks for your interest.
