The space
We can't wait for you to experience this tiny house in the woods! Sunrise brings rays of light over Mt Pilchuck. You may see deer, squirrels, chipmunks, woodpeckers, and bald eagles throughout the day. As night falls listen to the distant calls of coyote or spot a curious raccoon, opossum or owl. Enjoy a hot bath or head up the spiral stairs to enjoy a book in bed.

The intent of the design was to create a non-traditional romantic floor plan unlike anything else knowing this would be used primarily as a couples retreat.

The 1st floor includes a small kitchenette, cozy living space with stone fireplace, HD TV, and a luxury soaking tub!. The 2nd floor is where you will find a high-end queen memory foam bed. Yes, this is a 2 story treehouse! On the second floor there is also a children's sleeping loft which overlooks the rest of the bedroom. This loft is suitable for a small child but headroom is only a few feet. We found it also requires some youthful agility and adult assistance to get up and down the ladder I custom made from iron pipe.

A beautiful knotty alder sliding barn door leads from the bedroom to a private restroom with pedestal sink and incinerating toilet.

We call this a treehouse but it's technically supported by posts (nicer to the trees) and it is built on a hill, so although it is high up and amongst the trees, you are never more than a few feet off the ground.

The kitchenette is equipped with a coffee maker, mini Frigidare powered cooler, induction cooktop, mini crockpot, and enough dishes, glasses, and utensils to enjoy a simple meal or drink. We have your choice of a toaster oven or microwave and we just added a wood pellet smoker/griller on the front deck if you prefer to cook outdoors (we supply the pellets).

The soaking tub on the main floor is near the fireplace and TV with free Netflix. This luxury tub is a favorite amongst guests! You can literally be soaking in the tub and watching TV by the fire while your significant other is preparing a meal in the kitchenette all in the same space!

Voice controlled color changing lightbulbs set a custom tone with presets such as a Savannah Sunset, Spring Blossom, and Arctic Aurora.

The woods are private but the main home overlooks the open yard spaces. We are located on approximately 3 acres. The neighboring homes are on 3-20 acre lots.

Are there hiking trails in the area?
YES. Some of the best hiking in the state can be found just a short drive away! We can send you a list of our favorite hikes and secret spots for you to explore.

Are late arrivals okay?
YES. In fact night time arrivals are a real treat because the boardwalk to the treehouse and grounds are well lit. We say its very "romantical."

Can we bring our bicycles or barrow yours?
YES. And we are just 5 miles from the Centennial trailhead where you can park a car and ride all the way into the quaint town of Snohomish! We also have new bicycles for rent upon request.

We are celebrating a special occasion. Can we order special decorations, flowers, or something else?
YES. Please let us know your special requests and we can make the payment arrangement easy for your via Airbnb!

Will we be able to have laundry done?
YES. Message us anytime after check if you would like us to run a load for you at the main house. A $5.00 fee will be added for each load washed and dried.

What is the approximate size of the treehouse?
Interior space is approximately 220 sq ft.

We have a 5 star rating! Come let us earn your 5 star review too! I am dedicated to making sure your experience is the best possible! I want this to be a place you will look back at fondly and want to revisit for many anniversaries or special occasions to come!

During your stay

Prior to check in you will be given the keyless entry code. From the time you arrive, we will completely respect your privacy and leave you alone to enjoy your experience. That being said, because the treehouse and our home share a 3 acre lot together, we are still readily available and close by if you need anything. We also have a local manager just in case we are out of town. The majority of the treehouse windows look into the deep green forest. The front side faces toward the second story and roof of the main house. Yes you are above our 3 story home!

Although tecnically not supported by trees, the treehouse sits at the back of the hillside atop a small 10ft cliff and then about 6 ft up on stillts. So allthough you are high up, you are never too far off the ground. There is a grass yard that seperates the treehouse from our home.

No ladders are required other than for the children's loft. You are welcome to stroll the grounds. It is quite and peaceful but you may hear one of our cars depart or arrive throughout the day. At times you may hear seasonal yard maintenance. Most of the grounds are in view of the main home.

When you arrive you may park anywhere in our circular driveway. From there you will find the tailhead (Sasquatch Lane) located by the red barn. The trail is about 200 feet long and ascends about 50 feet up a wooden boadwalk and stairs.
