Campito is located in the mids of a sugar cane plantation, on the east part of the Dominican Republic. Explore nearby caves and a variety of beaches 30 minutes away, we are a lovely place to experience life in the countryside and enjoy nature!
The space
A Vernacular Dominican countryside villa with three bedrooms, front porch, three dining spaces, full kitchen, poolside terrace, two pools and lush garden space.
- Front Porch: Surrounded by nature, equipped with living and seating areas are great for conversation, relax or read a book in the rocking chairs, play board games, enjoy a group meal in the dining space.
- Living Room: Inside the house with a vintage french colonial feeling, great for cozier times.
- Bedrooms:
1. King Bed + Twin Bed.
2. Two Queen Beds + One Twin Bed.
3. Queen bed + Twin Bed.
- All bedroom are equipped with:
Linens, Pillows, Duvets and Comforters. Air Conditioner, Ceiling Fan, Smart TV with Netflix, and a Private Bathroom with Towels and Toiletries. *Mosquito Nets are available upon request.
- Poolside Terrace: The main hangout space with pool and garden views, a comfortable seating area with magazines, four dining tables that seat 14 people, board games, domino tables to set wherever you want.
- Extra Bathrooms: Next to the terrace we have two toilet spaces, male and female, and a private family bathroom.
Kitchen: Fully equipped for cooking family feasts.

During your stay you have available a full Kitchen to prep your own meals.

2) Activities at Campito Loving
- Paint & Take:
Discover the artist within, in connective immersion in nature. Enjoy painting with acrylics for a couple of hours. We can facilitate the base design for you to colour or you can create your own.

- Interactive Cooking Show:
Learn how to make an original Dominican dish with local cooks, using fresh and harvested materials.

3) Tours around the area
- Bike tour:
A one hour ride in electric bikes through the sugar cae plantation. Includes a visit to a traditional Batey and a weighting station (peso de caña).

- Hiking Tour:
A lovely walk of 5km within the eastern mountains (cordillera oriental) of the Dominican Republic. From the town “Vista Alegre” to the batey of Anamuya and a visit to a typical Dominican house. Ideal to get to know culture, history, flora and fauna, and try local coffee with mountain chocolate.
