Nature on your doorstep, mountains and sea, just one mile from the centre of Dingle Town, this is an ideal location to rest and relax. This double ensuite room in our family home is a good base from where to explore and enjoy the Dingle Peninsula.

The space

With us, you have plenty of space to enjoy the countryside: outside in the garden or in our cozy house. In the morning enjoy your breakfast while gazing at the mountains.

Guest access

Guests have access to the lower level of the house and garden; tea and coffee can be made in the kitchen at any time. Free wifi is available.
A really nice breakfast is provided in the morning on a self service basis. We make our own homemade soda bread, muffins and jams and provide porridge, cereals, muesli, local eggs, fresh fruit and yoghurt along with freshly brewed coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Breakfast is available between 8am and 9:30am.

Interaction with guests

Guests are welcome to integrate with our family, maybe learn a little Irish as we converse in this bi-lingual household. We would be delighted to assist with any queries you may have. It is important for us to make you feel at home and experience all of the magic that the Dingle Peninsula has to offer.

Other things to note

We have a house dog named Lily, she is a white labrador with a lovely gentle nature.

We really enjoyed our stay. I attribute this to the whole family making us feel welcome. Such a pretty house too. I loved the brightness and open feeling. It was nice when the dog greeted us and when the kids were there. We received great tips on our travel which really enhanced our experience. (We loved Healy pass!). We were certainly recommend the place on the merits of the family alone.

In a beautiful rural setting 1 mile out of Dingle. Friendly professional family with lovely mannered children. Lily, the dog, is a sweet girl that loves to be petted. It was a surprise and a delight to stay at Muireann's!

What a wonderful and welcoming place this is! The family is fun, knowledgeable about the region, and good company if you desire, respectful of your privacy if you don't. I highly recommend this home to any traveler. It is exactly what I hoped for.

Muireann is a very welcoming hostess and gave us some wonderful suggestions for food and activities. She even provided safety vests if we wanted to walk into town. The area is amazing and this is a good location for exploring. Very, very quiet. Tip: Muireann runs a cooking school. Her classes sound very fun so see if you would like to book one before you arrive!

I'm living in Dingle for the past 19 years and love the area. I am a fluent Irish speaker. I have 3 children and we love going trecking and beach walking whenever we can. I love good local food and enjoy cooking.
