Dingle town centre is a 2 minute drive or a 15 minute walk. Dingle is a place the Irish love to visit, a town full of artists, musicians and writers who come from all over the world. A town full of brightly coloured houses and beautiful fresh food from the surrounding sea and landscape. Traditional pubs with real life Irish music sessions, the real Ireland. The Dingle Peninsula an Irish speaking area, a magnificent landscape where the rugged mountains roll into the atlantic ocean. A place to walk, bike or take a boat trip. A place rich with ancient history and pre-historic sites that will leave you hungry for more.
Bus Eireann provides public transport to Dingle from Tralee and Killarney. There are a choice of providers that offer tours of the peninsula. Bike hire is available.
We have a house dog named Lily, she is a white labrador with a lovely gentle nature.
We had a lovely stay at Muireann's house in Dingle. Breakfast each day was excellent and Muireann really knows the best places in Dingle to eat great food. The room itself was comfortable and well laid out and I would have no hesitation recommending a stay here.
Had a great stay in Dingle. The house was located in a beautiful area just outside the town. Really quiet and peaceful, but only a short 15 min walk into town (weather was great). Our host Muireann was such a good help, she had a program for the Dingle Film Festival which was on and we went to see a movie and joined the fun at the festival club. Muireann recommended some restaurants for us and booked us in for an early bird in the Global Village. Restaurant was really great, would certainly recommend the crab!
House was very clean and fresh, bed so comfortable, had two great nights sleep. Bathroom was also lovely. Decor all round was very restful. Breakfast was super, lovely porridge with honey and cream, real homemade brown soda bread, probably the best I have ever eaten, had it toasted on the second morning with homemade marmalade, plenty of fresh fruit and yoghurt and super coffee. This is a great little place to stay in Dingle, much better than the guesthouse we last stayed in and much better value. Shall return soon!
