If you are looking for a beautiful and lovely home with very friendly hosts this is the perfect place to stay. We had a wonderful welcome with tea and cookies, interesting chats and good advises for our upcoming trip. We felt very comfortable at this cosy place. We totally recommend her as a host.
Such a great stay. We arrived earlier than expected but Muireann graciously gave us suggestions on where to eat and to go for traditional Irish music. Even sat and talked with us when we got back and the next morning. The room was great and the bathroom was huge. Would stay again.
Muireann was an amazing host! She has a precious family and we really enjoyed spending time with them as much as we enjoyed visiting Dingle. She was very kind and drove us into Dingle in the evening for some live pub music and gave great advice on what to see and do in Dingle. The house was walking distance from town and had an absolutely AMAZING view. She also made recommendations on where to visit after we left Dingle, and we took her up on the suggestion to visit Killarney National Park. Absolutely stunning. We loved every minute of our visit and would do it again in a heartbeat.
My daughter and I had a lovely stay with Muireann and her family. They were very helpful with information and gave perfect directions to their house. We enjoyed our stay very much.
It was an absolute delight to stay with Muireann, her husband Danny, and the rest of her family. After our arrival they took 45 minutes to teach us about Dingle, the attractions/restaurants/bars worth going to (and those to bypass). The room and bathroom were very spacious, and the breakfast was fantastic. I would highly recommend
I had a really lovely stay with Muireann and her family. I was made feel completely at home. I was down for the walking festival. Muireann brought me into the staring point of the first walk as I had arrived late. Muireann was so friendly and welcoming that I felt so at home and nothing was a problem.I had a lovely stay in Dingle and a large part of this was my stay at Muireann. Their home is aptly named "Retreat". The house is as you see on the photos , very comfortable and warm with beautiful views of the blissfully quite countryside. The house is a lovely walk into town with views of Dingle Bay. I couldn't recommend Muireann highly enough and would gladly stay at The Retreat again.
One of the best places here on airbnb I've stayed at so far - Muireann and her family have been so amazingly welcome and made us feel right at home from the first minute. The location is a lot closer to Dingle than we thought (a 15-20 minute walk / hike up, easy walk even at night), the views from the house are stunning and most of all - the breakfast with eggs from the garden, homemade soda bread and homemade jams was brilliant. I hope we can go back very soon - in the meantime I'd recommend Muireann wholeheartedly as a host!
I'm living in Dingle for the past 17 years and love the area. I am a fluent Irish speaker. I have 3 children and we love going trecking and beach walking whenever we can. I love good local food and enjoy cooking.
