The Hummingbird Suite is a generous sized bedroom with great natural light. It features french doors, oriental rugs, vintage furnishings, and a soffet wall with curtains to allow visual privacy for a second bed. The front half of the room has a queen size bed and an arm chair; the back half has a full-sized bed. Two additional club chairs, a wardrobe and dresser complete the space.

The space
The suite is located in a restored 1911 home in a turn of the century neighborhood in inner-Southeast Portland. The neighborhood is extremely walkable/bikeable, and just two blocks from one of Portland's great restaurant rows, filled with unique locally owned restaurants, coffeehouses, bars, food carts, pot shops, ice cream vendors, pizza joints, clothing retailers, yoga studios and yes, even an old-school hardware store. All of this just 15 minutes from downtown.

We have lived in our beautiful Old Portland home for over 30 years now. As artists, musicians, and former-coffee shop owners, we’ve been a part of Portland’s transformation into one of the most dynamic and colorful cities in America. Our SE Portland neighborhood was voted one of the most livable in the country a couple years back- I guess if you stick around long enough something interesting is bound to happen… we are fortunate to have a double lot complete with a large koi pond stocked exclusively with goldfish, keeping the raccoons, herons, and our four cats well fed and entertained.
