Lisa was an excellent host. She was accommodating when we discovered how late my delayed flight would arrive. Her manual was thorough and helpful (especially when calling a cab!) I have a great experience and would recommend her flat and Lisa as a host to anyone. Great way to start my trip (and fight jet-lag!!)
i had really good time in lisa´s house , i was 3 nights there,
she pick me up at the busstation and explain me how i can go to walk to the city, is 20-25 min not more
the weather was very nice lot of sun and in the evening some drops but not that much
i can recommend this house
Very cute little house in Dublin ! Excellent wifi and everything you could need to feel at home. Lisa was very nice to come and pick me up at the bus dtop even though I was 2 hours (email hidden)anks again Lisa !
Just one rhing : I found it difficult not to open the windows downstairs in rhe kithchen and the tv room as they were locked... I am not used to that abd I felt uneasy not having fresh air... All in all, a far better (and cheaper) place to stay rather than the hotels.
Lisa is very friendly, kind and gave us very useful advice about the city and how to move.
The house is perfect for 2 people, it is very cosy and fully equipped with everything you might need. We found it clean and tidy.
The location is good, 20 min on foot to the city center and 10-15 min from Connolly station. At 5 min you have Waterloo Avenue bus stop with buses to the city centre for € 1.95. From this stop you can directly reach Howth, too. Just take bus 31.
Lisa was kind enough to pick us up at the bus stop in the pouring rain and take us to her house. She was exceptionally helpful in giving us information on the bus system, restaurants, shopping, and so on. The house was lovely and we enjoyed it very much.
Lisa's house was absolutely perfect. It is as described, clean, comfortable, and very close to the center of the city (just a short bus ride away or about a half hour walk). The bus stop to the center of the city is just around the corner and the train station is about a ten minute walk away if you're looking to explore farther outside Dublin. The grocery store is very close as well if you're looking to cook. Our plane got in an hour late and Lisa kindly waited for us, making us feel welcome and taking the time to point things out on the map and show us around the house, even though we were so late. She has a whole basket full of information on things to do, and she'll even lend you a map! The apartment is a perfect home away from home for however long a trip you're planning. For some reason the full address doesn't show up on airbnb, so just make sure to ask Lisa in a private message (though I believe she is working on fixing the problem).
